The rasam with mama's family is known as "bhaat" in marwaris. Mama brings chunari for their sister i.e.bride/groom's mother with other gifts and sister does the tilak. The chunari is then worn in all the upcoming rituals.

Really nice and sweet wedding... Just something I notice 5:05 , I saw a signage on the shop with 'Kerela Shop' and something mentioned in Malayalam...This is why you could spot 10k to 12000 people in front of Aiyappa Temple in Indore durin aiyappa festival.. Despite many this is one of the reasons it is called mini Mumbai., It is actually so diverse that you could attend a bengali, marwari, punjabi, gujarati, south indian wedding in Indore, and of course Marathi...That is actually the beauty of this city... there is no community, no culture in here that can dominate the city... It's not so easy to find such cultural diversities in many cities...many people don't know but Indore, being situated in western MP, is a Maratha city, it is mixture from every part of the country, every festival including Gujarati/ Bengali Navratri, Marathi Ganeshotsav, Rajasthani Gangaur, Onam, Chhat Pooja, Marathi Gudi Padwa and many others are celebrated with great joy all of the year...This is why people say that Rest of the MP is different and Indore is altogether different...

In Goa, we call it the 'Chuddo' ceremony wherein the bride's uncle(mother's brother) puts a mixture of green,yellow, white and red bangles on her hands, about a month before the wedding.
