- Kingdom Rush Vengeance is a tower defense video game released by Ironhide Game Studio in 2018. This is the 4th game in the Kingdom Rush saga, but now you play as the villain who is helping Vez'nan, the main antagonist of the series, to recapture his throne back. I am having this problem also, my experience does not match what I see in the vids. I copy exactly everything and I don't even come close to killing the mobs the vid is doing.
Personally noticed that when I play on Veteran mode this video and towers aint working. But if you play in normal it should work just fine

Legends of Kingdom Rush
The only Kingdom Rush I just keep giving up on. Too hard. Too annoying with all the multiple exits, and things spawning right next to the exits.
you and I are similar, we are fine with the complexity being scaled a little below that and go for more levels, kind of the candy crush model but for kingdom rush.

I hate to be that guy who says that this video feels outdated but I have to say that two more mini-campaign (which is 6 new elite levels) have been added to Kingdom Rush Vengeance. That's 6 elite levels that are absent in this video.

Is there a point on playing on harder difficulties besides the challenge? I mean, all my heroes, towers, upgrades and everything can be maxed playing on normal, right?
6 months later but yes everything can be maxed out. Main difference from your question is hero exp is earned slower the higher the difficulty (casual yields most, normal yields less, etc).

TBH this game is kind of a cheap reskin and isn't very interesting. You have the same towers, the same spells, and the same gameplay as the other games despite playing as the villain. The only difference is the appearance. I feel like this game would have been more interesting if they flipped the script and made it so you had to call in your own waves of minions against a preset arrangement of towers, getting money for every minion that died and spending that money to call in more or better minions in a wave. You'd have to get your minions through to the enemy to reduce their hearts, and you'd have to do it within a set amount of waves to win.
You'd earn stars by completing the mission faster (in fewer waves basically) and you could then spend those stars upgrading your minions and your own set of unique spells.
For example, instead of having a meteor rain spell, you could have a spell that heals your minions in an AoE. Instead of having a spell that calls in demon reinforcements, it would summon some skeletons from dead minions which wouldn't be able to reduce hearts if they got through, but would be able to soak damage.
As the game progresses, you would get access to new units just like in the old games you got access to better towers.
Minions could come in in the order that you purchased them, so you could fully customize waves and find the optimal arrangement. You could spend gold to call in waves sooner, like how you gained gold by doing so in the other titles.
idk. I feel like there was a lot of potential with this concept, and they just took the easy way and made a reskin of the other titles.

I see a lot of people being unhappy about the difficulty especially of the bonus levels. I just finished the game, AND the hammerhold levels, everything with3 statrs, without using and not even a skank bomb from perks, and without ever switching hero. Trust the 1st hero paired with harassers for most of the bonus levels, and dont be lazy to change rally points of troops constantly, i promise you its possible!
