My first drop rolled with reverberation/attrition orbs and I really love the orbs but man does it feel bad to have a fully wasted perk. So weird that Bungie had 4 months to see that it did nothing on Lost Signal and NOT ONLY did they not buff it, but they also put it on a new area denial frame.
I actually managed to get a demo + attrition orbs roll from day one contest mode from first encounter. Had about 700 orbs by the time we finished 2nd encounter after maybe 30 min - 1hr
One of the best things about the Attrition Orbs roll is that a single shot in a damage rotation on a boss will keep you fully charged for the entire fight. No longer do we need to loadout swap to save charges, because charges are now on demand.
Unrelenting x Destabilising Rounds is just 👌👌👌 on this monster! Anything that gets tagged by Destabilising gives you the progress needed for kills to get Unrelenting healing. Which works great with perks like Controlled Demolition!
Demo + Destabilising Rounds, I got it on my Solo clear and I love it. Although the aspirational goal is to get Demo + Attrition Orbs, I think I’m gonna be just fine with this roll for a while.
I landed Slickdraw and Destabilizing on the only one that's dropped for me so far. It's not the best of rolls but it's pretty fun for swapping it on to blow a load then swapping back

I mean bait and switch wouldn't be that bad if your running a heavy with bait and switch, it's lingering damage. For example, your primary then shooting the area denial then go to edge transit, they nerfed auto loading holster with an extra second so you can switch back to the area denial for 2 seconds and maybe get 2 other shots off then back to edge transit. It's just what I've been doing and it's pretty good.
As a Stasis main it pained me that the Stasis Gl from last season was stasis cause I couldn’t use it for my build. This being Void made me so happy. I keep using it in the dungeon and it puts out.
reverberation DOES actually do something (at least, it’s supposed to anyway) it increases the size of the pools in your next shot. I don’t have the gun with this perk so I don’t know if it actually does that, but that’s what it did on lost signal

I got an unrelenting adagio roll on my first one, and I got slickdraw attrition orbs on another roll. The 2nd roll is very good for orb generation, very easy to keep your surges up.
The DPS you can put out with this and Supremacy is crazy tbh. I was using Chilled Inhibitor, Velocity Baton, Supremacy, Consecration + Cuirass of the Falling Star... I was COOKING the boss in Vesper's Host (and every boss I've come across).

My exact Supremacy roll is: - Fluted - Flared Magwell - Wewind Wounds (Rewind Rounds) - Bait and Switch - Reload MW - Backup Mag
Could you imagine an arc version and solar version of this grenade launcher archetype. For an arc I could see that new jolt perk that jolts an enemy from damaging and voltshot would be fun. For solar the incandescent and healcilp but for either you would need a reloader mod on your arm if you went with voltshot or healcilp but at the end of this when we eventually do get a solar, arc, and strand of this archetype hopefully they roll with these perks in their pool
anti barrier doesn't work with grenade launchers, the explosion is the thing that needs to do damage on them for them to stun, if you direct shoot at it it will bounce and the area an area denial frame covers is not enough to reach the champion if it bounces on the shield, the only type of gl that works with anti barrier is wave frames, but they are EXTREMELY inconsistent
I got 816 orbs created in onslaught with it, and 288 in master nightfall. The nightfall one was in large part cuz of the tanks, taking tick damage on all the different parts of the tank and generating like 5 orbs a second or something crazy😂
Attrition Orbs on Multimach with Kinetic Tremors is way better than under over. You create orbs on every enemy and have your super in no time, as well as generate orbs for your fireteam. Depending on your build, you always have increased damage because of the orbs. Attrition Orbs should only be in the 1st column in my opinion.
So about Bait And Switch on the gl, would this BaS stack with my Apex Predator BaS? So if my rotation goes from my primary, gl, rpg, and just rinse and repeat, wouldn’t that keep BaS up pretty much all of the time? Or is there a cooldown?
Gonna go for Unrelenting and Attrition Orbs, for pure support utility weapon. Heal me and generate a lot of orbs and also slap on Bad Juju. Ill be able to spam my super not as much as warlock, but enough as a Titan.
The lack of ALH is probably what keeps me away the most from this GL. Being able to blow my load and then swap to something else or spam some abilities makes Lost Signal the superior pick for me. Especially on an Inmost Light+Contact Consecration spam Titan.
Guys, attrition orbs WILL be nerfed on it. Bows which an roll attrition orbs and are single shot weapons take 3 arrows to make one orbs. Making 2+ orbs from a single shot is not intended and will be nerfed
Alex high ground because it's easy to proc and being a hunter I'm always jumping. So flat 25% damage almost all the time just by hinting enemies. Yeah I like it
Icebreaker is not currently farmable. 1 attempt per character each week like it has always been with new dungeons, they become farmable when they enter the weekly rotation.
sucks seeing you skip over slickdraw, this thing is a beast when it comes to stats, and slickdraw only makes it better i use slickdraw + attrition orbs with a reload masterwork. that's my personal perfect roll. 100 blast radius, 100 velocity, 100 handling, 90 reload speed.
Unrelenting/High Ground is equally the best combo for ad clear compared to demo/attrition because the orbs from attrition only grant .7-.8% super and doesn't buff DMG.

This either prevents Attrition Orb from ever getting a significant buff, staying pretty useless in most other weapons, or it will get nerfed specifically because of this weapon, making it even more of a worthless perk for the rest. It's a lose-lose for every weapon but this one.

It paired with get away artist and using thr bleak watcher turret Is a cheat code on onslaught at least in standard mode. I get 800 kills and 350-400 orbs if not more depending on how shitty the Randoms I'm with are. Do want to try out destabilizing rounds for shits n giggles though
What I don’t understand is that they gave this VOID GL Destabilizing Rounds AND Repulsor Brace…which interact with Void Verbs…but they gave NOTHING to Lost Signal to interact with Stasis Verbs!!!!! WTH Bungo?!! Lost Signal perks absolutely need to be updated to include both Rime Stealer AND Chill Clip. AT LEAST CHILL CLIP!!!!! C’mon Bungo, get it together.

Attrition orbs is never a perk I cared for until I used this as it was my highest PL in the slot. Fell in love with it after.
First drop was Repulser Brace and Orbs. On an entire 50 wave salvation, generated ~460ish orbs on 1k kills.
Destabilizing rounds with attrition orbs would have been Godly….

They should make an exotic solar one that shoots sunspots at enemies or for yourself. It would pair perfectly with phoenix cradle.
