Played this at my mom's funeral what a great song to honor mom's with . Got alot comments on how appropriate of a song this was at a funeral. Miss you mom.
I remember listening to a radio interview with Steve not long after Glen passed. He was absolutely heartbroken!! Glen was a musical prodigy and first to have crossover hits in Rock, Pop, and Country.
I am a bluegrass guitarist vocalist and love singing this song for my beautiful mama who has lived in heaven since 2015,and I know that as sure as I will see her again one day, you will also see your beautiful mother again one day ❤️ 💙
I just watched an old episode of Wagon Train from 1956. It was one dealing with the rights of women to vote and one of the lines in that show was "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." I thought about this song immediately and can't help but wonder if there might be , in some slight instance, be a connection between the two? Perhaps the writer of the song saw this episode and later penned the song...
Big Steve Wariner fan and also Glen Campbell. Would appreciate if you would comment on that performance of Galveston on the CMT top 100. Thanks in advance!
How many songs did they work together on--and why not more? I wish Glen had covered more songs that further challenged his skills as a player and singer, especially in the second half of his life. More jazz, less pop.

We need to bring this kind of country music back
I firmly believe Stevd Wariner is a great musician, long under-rated talent. I could listen to him sing all evening!
Two great artist right here people!

A beautiful rendition by 2 of America's finest musicians!
The lyrics and tune are amazing! I can’t listen to Glenn Campbell sing that song without tearing up! “The hand that rocks the cradle.”
Definitely a great combination, Glen and Steve. Steve has an amazing voice as well.
A beautiful song. Love it. Love hearing the 2 voices together. And truly should be a Hall of Fame for MAMAS
I lost mom in June 2022 and would very much liked to have played this song at her funeral but couldn’t. This is for you mom with all my love. Russ
