Oh, my. You are reviewing my favorite series and so I must comment. Gideon and Harrow are never lovers, in the traditional sense, up through book 3. The relationship arc is tremendously powerful but it isn't physical, for various chilly and ancient reasons. Is Ortus a coward? Compared to Gideon, most are. But remember, he cleared his throat with ultimate impact! I believe the kids that Nona bonded with will be seen again, and vows will be honored. Even Kevin Bathroom Duty. If you do a version that allows spoilers, that would be so fun! Thank you for doing this, I liked and subscribed.😊
@@lauriekuttner4119 thank u so much for your comment and yes i was very surprised by how chaste things were between our two leads. I loved Ortus in book 2 and his father that spoke in verse!! Which was your favorite entry?? I may do a spoilers video in the future!! I really loved hotsauce and honesty and cannot wait for book 4
@zacharyshaye6111 I think that things could have gone very differently, if Griddle had not accepted Harrow's feelings so gracefully. I don't think the tears stinging Gideon's eyes after that reveal were actually from chemicals in the water, ya know? But Gideon is a generous and loving heart (at this point) and the friendship is stronger for it. But yes, the fact that a book advertised as lesbians in space has only geriatric action is a bit deceptive! It's hard for me to choose my favorites without spoilers but let's see...when Harris is exhausted from fucking around in the basement and Gideon goes searching, then finds...when Ianthe decides to give Harrow a sexy makeover for a party but stops short of ravishing her over the nut bowl...when The 8th Saint to serve The King Undying is reunited with Gideon unexpectedly in the kitchen, and when Harrow meets the 6th House cavalier and her shabby leather bag, in the woods on a strange planet. I need to stop, I could go on all day. I can't wait for Alecto, can't wait, can't wait. 😁
