Keep in mind guys that there's a plethora of options to escape the corner and this video only scratches the surface. Be creative and mix up your options to make it difficult for your opponent to pin you down!
heyy i fought you in a tournament recently broo your sim was out of this fukin world😂😂 ggs man also been looking for good guides for sim and so far this had been the most useful info i found anywhere on yourube
I'm a simple man, I see Marisa beating someone up, I like. :P Seriously though, this was really interesting and eye-opening, even as a non-Dhalsim player!
I will keep this in mind for JP as well (JP is my primary zoner I'm interested in at the moment after I deal with my other main goals that include getting promoted as Ryu being a primary goal) as keeping out opponents and getting them out of the air is a priority for him as well defensive options are important for most characters.
Glad I found this. A friend of mine wants me to get good with Sim so he can have someone to train with this matchup. So I am placing my Blanka on the shelf for a while.
I'm glad this helped man. While there's been long radio silence on this channel lately I am cooking up something special for the Dhalsim players to learn.
Yoga Mummy to escape is alright. You do have the mixup of teleporting back instead to keep em guessing but it's still a big risk due to being in a juggle state if they're right.
It's tough to get started w/him because the play style is so different. Once you get it though, it's so satisfying. I will deal with getting cornered by aggressive rushdown, as long as I also get to laugh at JPs zoning.
This is a tough question to answer when we're on defense as every player plays offense differently. Some of the best advice I heard though is "you don't have to be right every time". It's okay to take some throws, it takes a ton of them to kill you and it gives you time to see how they run their offense and plan how you're gonna get out.
but drive reversal is more of a equivalent of wakeup dp, but they need to actually press a button and they can whiff punish it by nuetral jumping after a button

YOLO DRILLERS UNITE
Let's goooooooo
this is my 1st sf game and these guides are incredibly useful. thank you
That makes me happy that you find these useful, this is why I make these guides
Maybe later you can expand on the "corner defense" as it's my biggest pain point. 😊

Just don't get hit once vs Marisa, simple (it's not simple)
also glad to hear that!
This is so helpful Narath... You're awesome!
Thanks Sophie!

Yoga mummy to tele is pretty useful for getting out of the corner it's slightly more difficult to punish than a raw tele

Thank you for telling me about how your defense works now I can beat gooba
lmao hey Enker
Dhalsim is the kind of character that seems as painful to play, as it is to fight against

It's very satisfying to play as Dhalsim
Thank u mr narath
Thanks for the video
As a JP main, am taking notes😀

Tekken 4 - Authentic Sky
I seem to never know when is the right time to take my turn back.

Nice job!
Thank you!
Is wakeup drill the Dhalsim equivalent of wakeup dp?
you can think of it that way, but it is significantly weaker as it is not invincible, losing to meaties and neutral jump
It's like, why would I throw tech when I can just drill lol
but drive reversal is more of a equivalent of wakeup dp, but they need to actually press a button and they can whiff punish it by nuetral jumping after a button
I'm so bad at drive reversal. I get DI 70% of the time ugh
good vid
I came here for the thumbnail🤣
I'm REALLY proud of that thumbnail so that makes me happy lmao
*Promo SM* 😁

Picked up Sim when 6 came out, been having trouble breaking into Plat. This guide has definitely enlightened me! p.s. - Authentic Sky?
Yes! Been using a lot of Tekken music in my videos lol
