I like Bradley's tip about walking the course. I'd love to see a little more of that from our commenters. We have videos about how to throw shots well, but strategy and tournament play advice like that is golden.
I much prefer to watch courses like this, as opposed to the wide open, everything is is 1200 feet , crush a driver courses. Idlewild is the best mix of the two, IMHO. I like to watch pros show off all of their skill set.
Earlier in his career he let his temper get the best of him and got a reputation for being a bit of a prick. He's been suspended by the PDGA twice, I think. That led to people giving him the nickname, "The Texas Cactus." I've been watching the Pro scene for 7-8 years now and I'll grant that Bradley had some issues back in the day, but I think he's mellowed out considerably in the last 2-3 years. I'm of the opinion that his most recent suspension was unwarranted.
This is a course I would not want to play. I like courses that favor skill over luck on all the holes. The local guys were doing great. Some bad breaks for Girouard but it's obvious the guy can play.
Ken Climo and another pro, I think Barry Schultz but I might be wrong, both popularized this shot simultaneously. It became a running joke on who came up with it first so they called it the "patent pending."
I guess I'm the only one not a fan of Brad's commentary. Seemed to complain about too many of the holes. Sorry you guys have to play some technical wooded courses.
Eric Londono Some of these holes are decent. However many of the holes are luck driven. If a card full of pros throw a drive and have no idea If they are going to miss the trees living in the "fairway"...
There is a difference between technical wooded holes, and luck holes. A wooded hole has a doable line to the green/landing zone that rewards the player if executed properly, and punishes them for missing the shot. A luck course has no consistent line to the green, and requires the player to make the first gap or two, and then hope they get through further gaps because there is no way for them to have that fine control over flight, especcially given variable wind conditions. It seems like to me this course had a few too many holes that fell on the luck side of that delineation.
Trevor Aldrich I truly can't understand why he still does it. Especially since everyone complains so much about all his foot faults. It's completely pointless.
Trevor Aldrich last tournament I watched him in he did it maybe 4-5 times. Half were obvious foot faults. None went in. Every once in a while he gets lucky but it's bad form. He'd have more control with his feet on the ground. And less criticism
Uli is natural at commentary. You could definitely use him again in the future. Great coverage again, thx!
Totally worth staying up for this. Thank you jomez, you make happy things.
Bradley and Paul... Great commentating combo
Great ace, Uli! Love to see you play. Thanks, Jomez, for awesome coverage as always.
Thank you for making all of these videos. Nice to hear more Pro Commentators. Paul and Brad did a great job.
love it jomez, plus Bradley and Paul were great in the booth!
Wooot! That was fun. Thanx Bradley. Thanx Paul. gj
Really like the commentary team. Very professional hole descriptions and deceptively funny. A bit surprised.
Great commentary team. Love big sexy as much as anyone else, but nice to have some variety.
Paul is an awesome commentator, need him on here more often
WHO KNEW THEN, eh?
Enjoying the coverage and commentary!

great coverage! enjoyed the commentary. thanks! funny too- show paul's ace and then him falling on his ass! lol.
Paul’s 18 hole Ace.👍🏼👍🏼
I'm from Houston. This is hands down the hardest course in the area.
Who is ready for some Jeremy Koling and Garrett Gurthie: Big & Gurthie commentary?
Wow, this looks like a tough course.
What an ace by paul wow!
Checking out the runner on third? LOL, I enjoyed Bradley's commentary.
This coverage is so good, especially the slow-mo's of people on the course
First! Love you Jomez Pro! I’m sick, but can just sit and watch some disc golf and enjoy life!
Isaiah Online you are the first false first. Congratulations
I was first. Check it out. Not a super big deal but FALSE ADVERTISING.
It's a huge deal good sir. I apologize :(. You are the supreme!
I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions about this course, seems very tough and luck based at times. Great video!
Enjoyable to watch these guys on a tight course like this!
Awesome just finished f9
I'm a really big fan of the Cactusbarri commentary. Hopefully you they are available for round 3 too :)

This course is stupid hard. I wouldn't like to see it used again without some changes.
Tell us all about it, Mumbles.
Got wilberry commentary

Come play Hummel Park In Omaha, NE.
Great coverage. Not a fan of this course. Some of these holes don't have any lines.
A well designed woods golf course will have a "fair" line for birdie on every hole.
I agree, nice coverage as always, but a "luck"-course isn't that fun!
I play this course and it’s meant for you to be challenged. It’s actually realllly hard to get birdies
First Time the commentary duo gets aces during the event they are commentating on?
is it weird that Brad says"Paul is looking for this..." when Paul is right there?
ok, what's the story of phrase "pat bending/patent bending" ? jeremy forgot to tell us.
Ken Climo and another pro, I think Barry Schultz but I might be wrong, both popularized this shot simultaneously. It became a running joke on who came up with it first so they called it the "patent pending."
Awesome commentary, filming & ace! Terrible course design. The occasional, defined, technical line that pays off well is one thing, luck is another!

keep thinking perkins is kj nybo was throwing me off looking at the names
Paul's step putt never goes in...

Craig Campbell I’m certain the RUclips criticism isn’t going to affect a professionals putting style.
You'd think it not working would.
Cry about the course much bradley?
josh g Probably not enough!
Such a boring course to watch. Seemed like way too much luck involved and very short shots with no lines to the basket.
Great commentary. So nice not to have to listen to Kolings feeble attempts at sarcastic humor.
