Beautiful flower... can't wait to make it! And the best tip I've ever seen is to hot glue the new glue stick to the back of the old one!!! Genius!

Yes, the pieces were cut using the Cricut :) It is a lot of pieces but I think the final project is worth the effort :)

i am blown away by your method...I have been doing this for years and I have never seen anyone make a dahlia in this manner. Thank you for giving access to such a great template. Before I hated these flowers because of the way you had to attach them and roll them. This solves all those problems and no more cramming! I saved it just now and can't wait til morning to try this out.

while i was able to upload the giant paper snowflake from your link, every time i click on the link for the giant dahlia it brings me to a prompt to download design space (which i already have and is up to date)...is there any other link you can provide that I can save to an svg file? Thanks! This size (about 22" in diameter) takes about 29 pieces of 8.5" x 11" cardstock.

Thanks! the center is made with paper that has many many cuts and then folded in half and rolled...I will make a video for it!
What pound card stock are you using or is it paper .
Sherry michie I am using 65lb card stock to make this flower. More specifically, it is Recollections brand from Michael’s ;)
What paper are u using
I am using the Recollections cardstock from Michael’s. It is a 65lb weight paper that comes in a 50 piece pack.
How large is the finished flower?
The finished flower is about 18” in diameter, using the template at the size provided. The template can be re-sized tho, just as long as all pieces are grouped together and re-sized at the same time.

Could you tell me how many sizes of petals there are & how many you need of each.
There are five different petals, each a different size. There is a link to the file (Design Space) in the description. Please let me know if you need a .pdf file instead :)
I was just confused with the way it came up in design space. I could not tell how many of each one and how many different ones there are. Thank you
@@kimhunt3030 hum...it should say "cut 30" and so on , on each petal in the file...you may not have looked at the right file for this flower? Also, you may have to "zoon out" so you can see everything in DS.
The first mat did not show on my computer. I’m on my iPad now and it is working. Sorry about that.
