Regarding the sound mixing, it's so bad in story mode because the regular dialogue and battles will have that low volume, but the anime cutscenes are cranked to maximum volume. It's pretty awful.
The “8 years later still good” comment made me realize this game came out close to SFV. If it’s still going strong that’s a great lifespan for a fighting game. I wouldn’t have guessed.
P4A/P4AU has been literally always my favorite, even above GG or BB which were the ones that got me started to get into fighting games. This port was the heaven-send savior for me and my friends. Haven't had or seen any problems with my port (I play PS4).
I’ve been having a lot of fun with Ultimax. I even got my first rage-quitter. It was a Chie who I hit with Minazuki IK, and I laughed so hard when I got that disconnect message.
My first one was an Adachi (ironic) that kept trying to spam 5D, but since I’m yosuke I just closed in fast and got a perfect, the moment the screen blacked out he just DIPPED
Regarding the sound mixing, Yosuke's awakening super will blow out your eardrums. It's randomly like 30 times louder than anything else. Lots of weird issues, I hope they can fix up the PC port by the time rollback comes around.

Roleplayers aside, I really hope they add lobbies to PC soon, doesn't feel like an online experience from ArcSys otherwise (at least talking from newer games like dbfz or xrd-Strive)
Denuvo isn't anticheat it's anti piracy but it negatively impacts performance and gets worked around in days normally so it just punishes people who purchased it legally without impacting actual pirates. It also makes the game require an internet connection for first boot so if your buying it for the campaign that could eventually be a problem.
How's the PS4 version? I am thinking of just double dipping and getting it on PS4 as well, the steam version's problems don't bother me too much, except the crashing if you don't play windowed mode.
i really wanted to play it, but my pc can't get it running above 35 fps for some reason, which is weird cuz i was able to run it with an emulator with a stable, smooth 60 fps all the time
Lobbies don't work for me, my main issue, since I'd love to play long sets with a single person so I can learn matchups better. No idea what any of these new characters do. Other than that, ranked works great, alt tabbing works as long as I'm fullscreen.

For the crashing, my suggestion is maybe try running in big picture mode on steam. I found when I put it in this mode I was able to alt tab without crashing. Outside of that I’ve been having a blast playing Ken

I definitely had the crashing problem but was fixed once I changed from full screen to borderless
Crashes is what happens when you add Denuvo to a lazy console port, you will see when they remove it that the crashes will stop.
