Hi friends! I really hope you enjoyed today's video, I can't wait to show you the final dress in part 2! I also linked some resources for fitting cups in the description box - these tutorials really helped me achieve the best possible fit! 😊😊

I was wondering why we hadn't heard from you for a while. You've really stepped up the complexity of the patterns you've chosen with this beautiful dress. Even when I was at my peak sewing level, I wouldn't have had the courage to make this pattern with these fabric choices. I'm impressed with your taking on this project and not rushing it. You will look fantastic in it. You choose the right colours and patterns for your body and complexion.

So amazing hearing you talk about the adjustments x I had tried this pattern about a year ago. I really wanted to use the bodice for my maternity photoshoot but after 4 mock ups I didn’t know how to fix the gaping on the cups. I couldn’t find any info that was helpful so I ended up giving up on the project - I was sooo disappointed 😞 Hearing you talk about the adjustments you made makes me want to revisit the pattern 😊 All this to say thanks for sharing. Am sure a lot of people who have had issues with the pattern will find this video very useful x

I am so glad you found this helpful! I also struggled a lot with the cups, I was feeling pretty defeated and ready to give up. Your comment reminded me that I had meant to link the videos/resources I used in the description box and I forgot - I linked a few REALLY helpful videos that I used, I highly suggest you check them out because they helped me so much! 😊

You can also use spray starch to stabilize the fabric. Washes out after and just leaves your fabric.
