Great looking machine taking all the best features from the Nox 600 & 800, adding new features and packing it all in to the X Terra Elite.
If I hadn’t recently bought a Manticore this would be on order now. Might become a back up machine some time in the future.

Great review. Just to point out, the iron volume setting is also on the Xterra Pro and can be accessed the same way.

Minelab really hit the Bullseye with the Xterra Elite. If not for the reason I paused all purchases until the New Garret Vortex comes out, I would have bought one of the Xterra Eites already. But I want to see what Garrett is bringing to the table first...

@@Stack_Silver hasn't the Garrett vortex come out already I thought it has some bad reviews about iron discrimination.. on Amazon 11% said the elite was bad quality
@Jonathan1997hk-ln4yk I would swerve any garrett machines, I don't rate them at all
I've seen a lot of Nox 800s for sale on swap sites and you may be right about them being discontinued. I just bought the Elite and it is a great machine! I contemplated getting a Nox 900 but now I don't think Ill be getting one. I've read that the Elite is running the same simultaneous multi-frequencies as the Nox 800 so comparable.

This really helps, I have been using a not legend but now I'm legally blind. I have been looking into the not ripple score or the minicab X- terra ELITe and this helps more with my decision, I'm looking for a detector which is less complicated but gives depth as good as my legend but less complicated.

Keep an eye out for the Garett storm coming out 18th June. Rumours are flying that it might be a combination of Pulse induction and VLF. Lets see what comes of it shall we 😊.
Whatever garrett try and bring to the table it won't match this x terra elite, trust me on it, I heard all the hype regarding the apex, and that was very poor, especially on the beaches here
Have you used the Rutus versa yet Graham ? It's an absolute cracker aswel.

Great demo Graeme, now the dilemma, do i sell the t2 and go for this 🤔 like the look of the build quality with the square shaft, and wireless option for the headphones, i take it the coils wouldn't fit the equinox series and vice versa?

After seeing the Garrett new Vortex Detector, it’s an EASY CHOICE……I’m going with the new Minelab X-Terra Elite
I agree, I've never been a fan of garrett
basicly a nox 600/800 just a slight change in program and design.i wouldnt choose that over the 800 even with the new update the nox 800 is still a weapon be interesting to see how this performs next to the manti lol,
This has also got a better processor in it, in my opinion the 800 has had its day, however the users out there will still do very well with them, just like the deus 1, it's had its day but still decent enough

Operating in multi-frequency gives better target seperation and better operation in mineralized soil.

I will say no one saw this type machine coming. I dont think anyone would have bought an xterra pro if they'd known. I bought a pro and after having used equinox, excalibur and at maxes, you can definitely tell the pro is a washed down unit with the bad vdi jumping. My only worry now is that the 8 inch coil i got for it isnt compatible with the elite

Hi,looks great machine,though can you confirm it comes with wired headphones as i have watched a few unboxing vids and none have wired headphones included.

Thanks for your view, currently difficult to find independent opinion. I've been offered a nox 700 2nd hand for £650 but still edging towards elite now.

Was going to order though Amazon from the mine lab page, but I think they got a small typo there as in the expedition pack description it says you’ll get voyager 🤣 don’t want that one so I won’t risk it.
A proper UK dealership that is an actual detectorist will always win over faceless amazon! Only my opinion of course but it's true 😉
