Dear everyone,
I'm English, I didn't know who Jon Stewart is until I saw him Infront of Congress, speaking on behalf of 9/11 responders. Now I've been watching him and Stephen, I love them both, individually but also together. Watching them both retrospectively has proven that trump was predicted, this administration and it's cruelty goes further than feared only 2 years ago.
I've also been looking at Seth and John Oliver, the toll this crazy American political experiment is taking on you all is extraordinary. Without these guys, who lighten us even during the worst of trumpian chaos, helping not just Americans through these difficulties. You know it's bad when you get more truth from late night shows than you do your government.
I hope for all our sakes, that trump is voted out of office in 2020. If I could I would vote too. I also want to say, that most critical thinking rational people know that these late night hosts are more indicative of real Americans than the fake president and his corrupt and cruel administration.
A year ago, the American government were warned by international agencies about the treatment of asylum seekers and immigrants. The world has noticed what's going on, the wheels of justice do move slowly, but they are no doubt documenting, particularly now, in light of recent revelations and reports.
Honestly, I hope these dreadful, deplorable delinquent Republicans are held accountable for all the harm to humanity, to the environment and to the ideals and yes the very foundation of the forming of your country. The thought that they could 'get away with it' being the crimes that have and are being done to others is horrifying.

Yeah it seems to work that way when you get a 100% behind and for big business President. Not for the little guy and the middle class(what's left of it after Reagan) of course but for the bosses and those with a lot of money. Besides it was headed that way thanks to Obama but you will never get any Republican to admit that , will you?
Trump inherited a prosperous economy not the one the republicans left us remember. He inherited what Obama took from the gutter to the prosperous economy we have today. Trump just became president it is too soon to get credit for another President's effort.
I understand that since you are black, you are extremely biased towards Obama. But please take the blinders off, its beginning to look pathetic. Obama ruined the US economy, especially manufacturing. His policies forced those jobs outside, and it was only after Trump's election that companies started making plans to come back. Trump killing the TPP was also a huge move in this direction. Here is an incomplete list of companies coming back to Trump's America:
#1 Kroger says that it intends to fill 10,000 permanent positions in the United States this year.
#2 IBM has announced that it will be hiring an additional 25,000 workers in the United States over the next four years.
#3 Foxconn is considering setting up a 7 billion dollar plant in the United States that would create between 30,000 and 50,000 jobs.
#4 Amazon.com has pledged to add 100,000 full-time jobs in the United States by mid-2018.
#5 Wal-Mart has announced that it plans to add approximately 10,000 retail jobs in the United States in 2017.
#6 Sprint has announced that 5,000 jobs will be brought back to the United States instead of going overseas.
#7 After meeting with Trump, the CEO of SoftBank stated his intention to create 50,000 new jobs in the United States.
#8 After a phone call from Trump, industrial manufacturing giant Carrier promised to keep hundreds of jobs in the United States instead of moving them out of the country.
#9 Hyundai has promised to spend 3.1 billion dollars supporting their current factories in Georgia and Alabama, and they have said that they are now considering adding an additional factory in the United States as well.
#10 GM has pledged to invest a billion dollars in U.S. factories and to add or keep 7,000 jobs in the United States.
Unlike most politicians, so far Donald Trump seems determined to actually keep many of the promises that he made during the campaign.
I knew it, I just got the feeling that the race card was going to be used to shut me down. Just remember, more whites voted for Obama in both elections than blacks in fact most people were skeptical about Obama clinching the democratic nomination because he is black and some were even afraid he was going to be killed like Martin Luther King but it turned out different. So please do not shut my mouth because am black. If it was a tribal war, then perhaps you would have been right I have lots of white friends who love and respect me and I love and respect them just the same.

"You know what Stephen, no. I'm not good. It's been a really, really long time. I must confess, Stephen, I- I miss your body."
"Jon, I'm flattered. You know, that trip to Cabo San Lucas really suits your skin tone."
"Oh, really? Then why didn't you tell me when I went months ago? I've been spending every passing moment thinking about you for over a year now, it feels like over a decade. Every night, my finger lingers over your phone number and every night I think, no, he's too busy. He'll call me when he has time. And you never do!"
Stephen whips off his glasses and glares at Jon. "Goddamnit Jon, you think I don't know that?! You think my finger hasn't lingered over your name?! But you left! 16 months all alone, because you went off air! 16 months with no end in sight! That hurt me, Jon. You hurt me. So I found someone else."
James Corden trundles out of the curtains, "Hi, Jon, great to meet you!"
Jon stares at Stephen. "Him?! I can't believe this! You would do anything to spite me."
"He makes me feel safe, Jon!"
"Since when have you cared about being safe! When we were together, you were such a firecracker! You would let your hair down in the wind, safety be damned! And here I am, standing in front of you. Not that guy. I know you feel it too."
Stephen strains to find a response, and falls flat. He looks back at James, who is picking a scab. He turns back, slightly nauseated. Jon peers into Stephen, pleading with him to come to him.
"Okay Jon, you win. I can't live without seeing that soulful gaze every day, and- well, you know. That's why I love you."
Jon holds out his hand and Stephen takes it. They walk out of the studio with a familiar glow in their faces. Later that night, they play Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and reenact Stephen's favorite excerpts from Lord Of The Rings Volume I: The Fellowship Of The Ring. They high five and do their secret handshake, best pals once more. They then hug, they'll see each other tomorrow, and then go home to make grown up, consenting love to their wives.
Disclaimer: I very much respect all real life participants of this story, including Mr. Corden whose gait is in reality quite graceful and is not alone in picking his scabs if in fact he does do that. I thank him for his role in this story and I thank Mr. Colbert and Mr. Stewart for their indelible friendship that is so powerful it goes back in time to inspire the tales of Greek mythology and Shakespeare, among others. To Stephen and Jon, if you find any untruths here I am willing to rework it, but I think you will find it quite difficult to do so. Thank you.

I love how you people think the 'PRESIDENT' changes anything. He merely
signed Executive orders like Obama did because his advisors and those
above them, i.e. Bankers, Rothschilds, Goldman Sachs, corporations,
military contracts, etc., forced him to. For crying out loud it didn't
even look like he knew what he was signing. Presidents are figureheads,
and the Right-Left paradigm is a sham. For crying out load Trump, Obama
positioned the same people that led to the 2008 housing financial
collapse; both did and will support wall street. Clinton was also a
puppet and backed by Qatar, Saudi's, Big Banks, etc. All of you people
arguing about Trump are stuck in a circle jerk not understanding that
Trump isn't the problem it's the very system itself. 21,000 people die
everyday due to hunger! Ask yourself, where does your money come from
and who owns it? Google it, these people are the ones controlling every
facet of the media, legislative sector and the president himself. Obama
wasn't a dictator just as Trump isn't, they're marionettes for war
mongers, military contractors, arms industry, etc, etc. You think Obama
