@@scoobydoingyourmum7899 I am in no position to declare the history of colored races in the western world was, and in many ways still is perfect. There is obvious enough evidence to indicate it was, is NOT! but linking Entertainment traits with that, and presenting them as total horror, degradation and total support for those atrocities, is not entirely accurate or confirmed. The under core problem with blackface/ Minstrels is it is so OLD! That is where the problem is, the core root of it! It just does not reflect with the modern day contemporary profit margin. That is why Blazing Saddles is being shown today on my local free to air TV without any disclaimers. pre warnings, complaints, or anything. it obviously still makes a buck or two for the advertisers. I would prefer to see a Bert Williams documentary, including him in blackface!

Stereotypes become stereotypes for a reason.
    All asians are great drivers.
    All Italian businesses are legit
    Irish people hate bars.
    Blacks suck at sports.
    Etc etc etc

We cannot live in a “post-racial” world. It’s impossible. Stereotypes exist because there’s truth inside, like comedy. As long alas there are different races, there will continue to be jokes and/or ridicule. If we were all only one race, we’d find something else to joke and ridicule about. European and indeed almost all whites think different than others, so do Mexicans and other Latins. God made us different colors and with different mindsets and ideas. If this makes you uncomfortable, there are places you can go where its always one single race. Go there, go to the birthplace of your people. That’s your homeland. Until you realize this, we will both be troubled. The original black slaves wanted nothing more than to return to their homes because they knew it was their home. American blacks who fell white people are the problem should return to their forbears land. Their progeny has yet to understand that this is where they to find peace and full acceptance.

So the Anglo colonizers who felt natives were the problem should have returned to THEIR forbears' land. I couldn't agree more.

You ask "do you think we live in a post-racial world?" Given that all the examples of offensive stereotypes you show are 50+ years old (some of which I have never seen before), I can only answer "Yes."
