I have purchased a carens luxury plus imt diesel and am very satisfied with it in all the aspects. Long journeys are very comfortable and tireless. On the highways I got a milage of 21 kmpl which seems quite satisfying. In the city I got around 13. The features are all very nice and the ac is very powerful. Let's hope things continue in the same way.

Carens diesel iMT is a good purchase. Overall performance is satisfactory. Easy to drive in city, comfortable on highway. In hilly areas, you need to be in lower gears especially with load. Will recommend. Stretch to automatic if you can.

I bought a carens diesel imt premium base model last month . Mileage city 15 to 16 and high way 20 above. In base model there is no central locking , cruse control , no roof rail , even 300 Rupees ka shark fin antenna bhi nani diya. Old model halogen head lights given , no push button start, no Android nothing is there but price 16 Lacs on road is very high . Value for money nani hi, Bulilt Quality is very very poor.

Cons : Poor paint quality, fades soon and clear coat thickness is very minimal, even a minor finger knuckle hit causes dent on doors which is terrible, exterior plastic quality (black plastics) are very poor, shows fading, Interior seat foam doesn't provide luxurious comfort for a heavy built adult. Overall its built to a cost loaded with Gizmos. Pros : Looks and features are just awesome, spacious, refined and powerful diesel and AT is awesome for city, Verdict instead buying this car for 23 lac I would suggest buy XL6 Zeta AT petrol on 15 lac budget else buy Kia Carnival for 36 lac prestige or a Toyota Invicto.

Carens diesel iMT is a good purchase. Overall performance is satisfactory. Easy to drive in city, comfortable on highway. In hilly areas, you need to be in lower gears especially with load.

No way the premium model costs 16 lakh! In Ahmedabad, the Prestige model costs 13 lakhs. You are robbed if you paid 16 lakhs for the base model.
