Met her in Colorado Springs, where I asked her to sing Red Bird for my wife, who had a stroke and was in a nursing home. She gave me permission to shoot her singing the song. When I went to visit my wife, I played the video, and she smiled from ear to ear. My wife recently passed away, but I'll never forget the kindness Hunter gave us in making a beautiful memory.
I teared up watching this I am so proud of you Hunter and what you have accomplished. I am going to miss sharing the stage with you you have outgrown the stages I play but I am so proud of my friend and believe in you

I don't keep up with country music, but I very badly wanted Huntergirl to win her season of AI. I was unsure what happened after the show, but I hoped Nashville would open some doors for her. The combination of her singing, songwriting, genuine and sweet personality, I hope will take her far. Thrilled that she made it to the Opry!!!!

I would love to meet you some day I heard "Ain't About You " for the 1st time in hanover PA around 10pm on froggy 107.7 didn't hear the whole song but heard the lyrics I needed that night to save my life I went home looked it up on RUclips and got the lyric video listened to whole song and cried for 1/2 hr you saved my life with this song thank you so much for having the courage to write this song LOVE & LIGHT to you and to your family

I'm so glad that Huntergirl made it to the opry so cool. At the same time, I'm just kind of quite sad that her priority of music will always take place in a big city and touring big cities and unfortunately not small towns like Shelbyville, Fayetteville, Mcminnville, Tullahoma, small town festivals anymore

Ladies & Gentlemen, making her Grand Ole Opry debut is American Idol's 20th season runner up that starts with the letter H like Manhattan's Herald Square known as Hunter Girl!!!!!!!! I have a feeling that in my opinion in case Hunter Girl is inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry the Mother Church of Country Music, the only person that can pass the Opry member invitation for Hunter Girl is Luke Bryan from American Idol.
