- Neat car show at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Some cars were off on a drive, but there were a lot left. Headphone users apologies in advance. . . a business next door had a large motor going that adds a noise to the video.
Still have my dad's '49 Commodore. He bought it nearly new. Last tagged in '63. End snapped off the transmission input shaft. In '61, he worked in the missile silos in New Mexico and would race a fellow with a Studebaker Hawk back to town. He said the Hawk would run off from him at the start, but he always caught and passed him within a few miles once he hit overdrive.
some of the older cars are amazing
Beautiful old cars . I wish I could have one
I wish that the group could come back to Chattanooga but the area where they were is now apartments.
Million thanks for the video..! My awesome dream cars..
This was the last of an era as the back part of the choo choo is now a set of apartments. I wish that they would still do it but I think that that particular group has moved on. Thank you for watching
@@AndysJourneys sad.. am still looking for an old one here.. like my Papa s old Ford .. what a great cars..!
I wish they would go back to the bench seats & the large, thin steering wheeks. Should come to our "Crusin' the Coast" event that they have every year here. Week long vintage car event.
Sounds co. I may have to ad that to my filming list. :)
@@AndysJourneys its held ever year in October. The first weekend. Covers the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast. I think there is an app. for it. Hope to see you here.
most people recognize this car as doc hudson or the fabulous hudson hornet but I recognize it as a legendary race car
If the group comes back it will be in a different place. Now there are apartments where they had the car show
Wow love the car show
This is a history event. Now that back section belongs to an apartment group. I wish we could have had more years. They were amazing
Great old cars,,miss mine,,Classic design,,no cars compare with these and other old cars for distinct design. Still, this is my favorite old car and they were NASCAR Champions also
+Dick Buelow I wish I had been there earlier in the day. About half of the cars were touring around Chattanooga and the area taking in the sights. Still what was still there was amazing.
Why aren't there more people there? These cars are beautiful.
I caught the car show when they were doing trips with a lot of the old cars. It was neat to see so many old cars driving around town
Kool channel Andy! I'll be back to explore more. Thankx 4 sharing. Xheers likd 82
Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I try and drop a video a week so stay tuned

I wish this group could come back. But we also have a big old car event once a year as well
That's my brother's '50 Pacemaker sedan at 3:54. Grandpa bought that car new.
It was a cool show. It was nice seeing all the old cars driving around town
:)
Great video thank you! I have to laugh at people who cover their cars at a car show when they are not there. They don't wanna get their cars dirty? 😆😃
I can understand it if it's a rare colour and all of the time that these people have spent restoring their cars. I do know some of these original colours are almost impossible to get these days. Thanks for coming by. :)
Probably had the experience of people vandalizing their car when they were not around, stealing parts, or allowing their kids to climb all over the car inside and out, scratching the paint and getting the upholstery dirty. Out of self protection they cover the car when not around, although I am afraid these days that wouldn't stop them.
@@mrdanforth3744 I since bought a 75 Checker Marathon and took it to a car show and I turn around, next thing I know a father opened the rear door and told his three kids to get in. I ordered all of them to get the hell far away from my property or the next time I promise this conversation will be very different.
I Wish I Still built cars like that
It was amazing seeing all the cars driving around town
Fabulous
Thanks Andy!
You are welcome
This is the real Americans folks.....
MY DAD'S FAVORITE CAR'S OF ALL I REMEMBER HIM TELLING ME HOW YOU WOULD HAVE TO STEP DOWN INTO THE HUDSON AUTOMOBILE'S AND HOW TOUGH THESE AUTOMOBILE'S WERE AND HOW WHEN YOU RODE IN ONE YOU COULDN'T EVEN FEEL THE ROAD UNDERNEATH YOU THE RIDE WAS SO SMOOTH...
That's awesome. It was very cool seeing them drive around town that day
Stare pojazdy lepiej były robione niż współcześnie
I wish i was there
+Kyler Hopkins It was a really neat show. Since then the Choo Choo sold off the back space. Don't know if they will do it again now.
Check out my video, 1949 Hudson summer build. It's the before video. Some of us still love these old cars.
I wish I had gone down earlier. A lot of the Hudsons were touring around Chattanooga when I went
Too bad when you’re showing the cars come up with the year Jerry Mcdonogh
Unfortunately a lot of the people we're not there to give me info I kind of came in and left and now that that back part of the choo choo is not there anymore I doubt they will ever have another show there
Terrible presentation on these cars Jerry Mcdonogh
Attended a Hudson meet in 2021 in Wisconsin Dells, WI. This video sort of looks like it !
