Sawaki being open-minded to that defeat is a really pleasant surprise. It's a bit whiplash-inducing that there was zero frustration from him whatsoever though.

This story made my day. There was no stupid drama, the characters are likable and had development (even the antagonist because he showed good sportsmanship in the end), and overall it balanced romance and sports for me.

Hey everyone! I played all the Male Characters in today's Episode, so thanks for watching.
Sawaki's talents went to his head, and he was becoming arrogant. Thankfully, he just needed to be taken down a peg to realize he alone wasn't enough. Now Nitta was able to show how good he was, and he got the Girl in the end, by showing he was brave, and talented. He helped the girls in their time of need, and that kind of respect goes a long way.
Shout-out to Hana-Tan, who played the ladies in today's video as well. She really capture Aoba's strong spirit, I'd say. Until next time!

Anyone else want to see a continuation of this from Sawaki's perspective, with a possible romance with the goalie on the woman's team? His character developed quite a bit in the end.

It's more common in sports anime and manga. Often a rival becomes a supporting character to the MC, and while i also find his 180 to be sudden a well, it could make for a good story to see how the character moves forward.
Also the goalie is adorable but brave. Can't you see her asking Sawaki to practice with her? That would go towards making him a better person, and is different from all the, former delinquent stories that are a dime a dozen at this point.
@@CaptainTylorMan Yeah, character development is great, but I really don't like it when the bully character does a 180. Bakugo going from "kill yourself Deku" to "it's not like you're my best rival friend or anything baka!" still makes no sense to me even after all of his character development.

Wow, Sawaki was rather respectful with his level of sportsmanship. Good for him, and the story as a whole. No unnecessary drama to pat out the time. And good for Tsukasa, he helped out the women's team of hus own volition. He could have left at any time because they were a bad team, but he didn't because of the potential he saw in them. And in the end, he got Rika as a girlfriend from his actions. No unnecessary drama, just sportsmanship and a more steady growth of love between the two MCs.
I'm surprised koji got character development along with the girls soccer team goalkeeper Tsukasa really changed them for the better including Rika too good to know that they're both in a relationship now. 🥰

I praise an antagonist who is a good sport. They are the rudest characters but are ultimately humbled in the end and can become god friends with the MC. Plus the bro handshake at the end. Respect and hat tops all around.

When I first watched the video I couldn't really look at the screen, so most of it was auditory, it was quite fun to listen too, and from the quick glances I got it was entertaining too. I love how the MC didn't back down despite being lower in authority, he saw something wrong, and fought for what was right. He didn't back down despite the discrimination/ risks, while everyone else feared the consequences. The FMC was strong in her own right, she wanted to be the best she could be for her team, almost putting herself on the line. As for the antagonist, by no means where his actions good in any way, but he does have wonderful sportsmanship. His team was strong, but was lacking, ultimately he admitted he was inferior, and had willing leave the team despite the conditions not requiring it, which I respect. Top 30's in my opinion, it was really fun, had a great cast, and a nice change of pace

As someone has over 11 years of soccer/(football 😎) this was one of my favorites from the channel. I could write a ton of things that the boys team did wrong compared to the girls team, for example having all the boys team push up to attack. It’s common sense but you should never do that unless it’s the last play of the game 😂. The ending was also very wholesome, they all got together in the end 👍

I saw this drama back in highschool, the boy soccer team leader, he brutally took on the girl team and was charged with assault and he was expelled and shunned by the town.
I'm glad that Sawaki came to an understanding. It's good to see a story where everyone isn't a bad person in the end and become friends. That's a true happy ending.

I like that that is the bit that gives you an urge, and not the fact that the captain of the guy footballers, and the rest of the guy team, have to be pretty bad at the sport to have a young girl his age be his rival. By every known understanding of testosterone and genetics, men are generally stronger in most sports. Hell, the national football team for women in the US was defeated by a team of male teenagers. It was the part that bugged me the entire time, comparing men and women in sport is ridiculous and unfair to both parties. Cheers!

This was an amazing sports manga, and no conflict near the end too.
This is actually one of the few comic dubs and stories that the antagonist actually accepts defeat and get character development, actually based this is a good story.
The Match was so intense damn. He may be ghe bad guy but his skills in soccer is amazing I have to admit his brag really isn't just for show.
The villain here had and has honor and more. He knows when to concede and extra the honor is high I like that.

Ngl, Sawaki is actually my favourite character here. He wasn't a very bad person at all, just held on to his principles the wrong way. Like heck, he still even thinks of the teams' strengths when offering the deal with Aoba, which brings me to the only part of the video that I hate about him: the fact that he used it for blackmail against her.
At least he ain't sore about losing though. He sure does know how to acknowledge and value strength very well, as I just mentioned above.
