  • The first video - excluding my two first cringey gaming videos - I uploaded to this channel was an arrangement song called The Innocent Abandoned from the point-and-click psychological horror game Sanitarium. Personally, the 2nd level "The Innocent Abandoned" was my favourite, because of the story, the characters, and the music. I could listen to this song on repeat. I loved the song so much, I arranged it and decided to upload it to RUclips via MuseScores "Send to RUclips" feature. This was the second piece I'd ever arranged, so obviously, it was full of issues. Since then, I've come a long way with my music and I thought I'd showcase that progress with a re-vamped version of the piece. For technical reasons, I've stretched the piece from one piano, as I originally arranged it, to two. This opened up a ton of creative opportunity, which I took. For example, the sextuplets everywhere. I also added in some background parts. This arrangement is definitely not a perfect arrangement of the original in terms of copying; however, it does give the piece a nice twist. I hope you enjoy this creative arrangement of "The Innocent Abandoned" from the OST of SANITARIUM!!

    I have read your notice.
Wow, the arrangement is beautiful, it's a real homage to the game. The sound is pretty cinematic. I can imagine AMV.. sorry, a tribute video with this music. I would prefer this version to the original song, I guess. Thank you.
Someday I should play it again. A month ago, I played I have no mouth but I must scream, which is similar to this one as for me. I can not say that I liked the gameplay (I'm not a fan of quests, probably), but the story is very atmospheric too. Did you play it?

I'm glad you liked it! I haven't played much of that game, but I do own it. Do you like the music from it?

@@rennymassey8230 Well, yeah. First of all, the composition, the remastered version of which can be found on RUclips under the name "That hole in my chest (Gorrister)", is very beautiful and memorable, as much as the related chapter. I love it.

Hi Renny, just wondering if could it be possible to remake the song called "the graveyard and morgue" from the same game 'Sanitarium' and if so, how would it sound like.....or how could I find something to help me replicate it, I'm in the process of learning piano, pretty recently.

I'll definitely try it out and I'll upload it here the same way I did "The Innocent Abandoned"

@@rennymassey8230 wow that's awesome, Alongs side with the 'Innocent abandoned',
'the graveyard and the morgue' is my actual favorite from the game, do you think that this one would be easier or harder to replicate than the Innocent Abandoned?

I think it may be a little harder, but if I listen to it a whole bunch I can probably get it pretty accurate. It seems to be originally played or produced with a synthesizer on high reverb, so a piano arrangement would most likely require a lot of pedal and arpeggios (in this case basically pressing the keys notated in some random order). It seems to have a bass drone going on while everything else is happening. I don't think this would necessarily be difficult to play in terms of coordination because notes seem to change one at a time most of the time. The difficulty would most likely be anticipating the changes.
