Those shoes are very special, They have thin soles so he can feel the keys as he moved his feet over the Pedal Board. They are not made to walk around in. They are worn only when he is playing.

The reason there's so few likes is because Rienzi isn't a common organ piece. I was very surprised to find it, but pleased with the performance.
