- There are currently 11 of B&M's hyper coasters around the world that sit between 200 and 299 feet tall, and today I'm ranking them! I've had the wonderful opportunity of experiencing all of them, and ordering them was actually quite tough! That being said, this is what I came up with!

A rattle on diamondback....i call that THEMING 😁
It really adds to the ride
Same
I literally have never had a rough ride/experienced the rattle on Diamondback. I rode it as recently as October 2020.
@@sshawauthor4583 yeah sometimes it’s worse than other times, and it’s never horrible usually just a slight rattle
Same! I know some people complain about it but I don’t notice it that much and I actually like the sound of it because it adds to the theme, even if it’s not intentional! It’s a rattle snake after all 😂❤️
Raging bull is underrated as hell
Overrated

@@buldasur2576 nah
It’s grossly underrated

Let's face it...we have all done that, I'm just usually on the brakes waiting to get back into the station
That lapbar is getting its fair dose of getting destroyed before entering the station :D
Raging bulls first drop with the little dip at the start gives a ton of airtime on the drop in the back.
We have Mako in the same spot, other than that, pretty much flip your list over and you got my list
Shambala at bottom spot? Sheesh

He has not been in Europe.
Nitro should be over mako the 5 second floater hill on mako beats anything on nitro but I think everything else on nitro beats everything else on mako

The rattle is part of the Diamondback rattlesnake theme lol

@Jose V. how can a B&M hyper be bad? Lol
Nah Chris thinks Nitro is better than most RMCs.
@Jose V. yeah that’s rides bussin
Raging Bull: **Doesn't even make the Top 10**
**Airtime Thrills has left the chat**
Same thing with diamondback
"You dont see ejector on B&M hypers" uhh raging bull first drop, hello?
Taylor's Raging Bull review from 4 years ago is the most controversial review he's done. Get two rides on it and complains about lack of airtime. I did it about 14 times over two days and it's up there with Mako and DiamondBack for me. It's a solid hyper with a twister layout. Everyone is allowed their own views but I feel Taylor needs to go reride this thing.
Raging bull is trash
@@marty_nz nope. Trash great America
If Goliath were glass smooth I think it would rate above Mako for some people. I'm fairly certain it has the strongest forces on any B&M hyper. When it's hauling the run back has 3 ejector hills in a row.
I have to agree I love Goliath it’s my favorite hyper out of Diamond back it and Intimidator it’s got amazing airtime and a intense helix but it’s got a bad rattle that really I don’t understand why it’s not that old it’s a pretty average age for a b and m hyper but it is the oldest I’ve ridden of the b and m hyper s
Dude I live only 45 minutes away from six flags over Georgia I’ve been there countless amounts of times and Goliath bro is amazing. The rattle honestly makes it better not gonna lie.
@@natepettigrew8415 I was lucky enough to live 10 minutes from the park and got to visit at least twice a month. I have had Magic Mountain, Six Flags over Texas, Astroworld, Fiesta Texas, Frontier City and now Six Flags over Georgia as home parks (I move a lot) but over Georgia is one of my top 5 parks. I love it.
I almost wonder if it's because of the low to the ground turns at the valleys between each hill Goliath is why it has a rattle. Similar to how Diamondback turns at the bottom of each hill and it rattles too.
I also live ~1 hour from SFOG, and I've noticed the rattle on Goliath isn't the same every visit. I wonder if it's related to wheel condition or ambient temperature or something like that. But yeah regardless of the cause, when it's bad it puts a real damper on the experience.
I'm happy my home hyper Behemoth got the recognition it deserves. A lot of people don't get the chance of riding because it's all the way here in Canada, but if it were in America, people would put it higher on there list of hypers. I put it over mako.
The 4 I've ridden:
1. Diamondback - I don't mind the rattle at all. This thing just pulls massive airtime, it's got a great setting, solid layout, and the longer trains do really help with giving the back rows a bit more punch.
2. Nitro - This one just has everything you could ask for in a hyper coaster. Maybe some of the newer ones have more unique elements, but Nitro really makes great use of its tried-and-true layout through sheer size and power. And I actually like the color scheme, super vibrant and energized, even if it is in desperate need of a new coat of paint.
3. Intimidator - I was lucky to get a few rides untrimmed. I wouldn't say it has the most airtime on a B&M hyper, though it does have some of the most intense airtime. My only issue is the second half, where it just doesn't do much.
4. Apollo's Chariot - This was the first B&M hyper I rode, and I haven't ridden it since 2010. I do remember really liking it for the awesome setting and good pacing.
This is actually very agreeable.
Thats a good list tbf
We need a list for B&M Invert list. Who agrees??
He should do that
Airtime Thrills did one for the US and it holds up well I think
Yes
I don’t think the guy really cares about inverts anymore lol
Hi, from the UK, yes, agreed, Montu, at BG Tampa, would be on that list, if it was me, great ride. And Nemesis, here, at Alton Towers, UK, a unique B&M invert.
Thank you for actually recognizing Canadas Wonderlad. Behemoth is one if my fave rides ever tbh. I love that finale with the spiral thing. Honestly one of the more creative and fun layouts at the park.
yeah I could agree. But I prefer YUkon striker
@@AdrenalineLegends Oh I agree Yukon is better. Just saying that Behemoth is great as well.
yeah@@googlethecat4218
I agree@@googlethecat4218
I travelled to Portaventura from uk purely to ride Shambhala. I then spent 3 days marathoning it. Best 40th birthday ever.
Shambhala was my #1 coaster for over 5 years for a reason! This thing slaps!
I don't have a huge number of creds, but the only coasters I've ridden that I'd rank above it would be Wicked Cyclone and Superman at Six Flags New England (and honestly it is close). It does beat both of those for comfort and theming.
There is so much ejector on Raging Bull back row. Underrated for sure.
I HEAVILY disagree. I rode very back row in 2021 on a very hot summer evening with a full train, and there was no airtime. That even includes the first drop
@@justiceleaguebattleformetr9239 you must have been passed out or dead because that first drop and drop off the break run is insane
@@josephqualtier961 I promise you I’m not making this up. My mom and brother said the same thing about it not giving airtime in the very back row
@@justiceleaguebattleformetr9239 I really don’t know what you rode then because it’s a better drop than Goliath in the same park
@@josephqualtier961 I don’t know either. All I know is that the first drop was severely disappointing for me, and the same applied to the rest of the ride. There wasn’t any airtime in the back row on anything else either. I honestly found the front row to ride identical to the back. That’s how disappointing the back row was when I rode it
The thumbs down is probably from Airtime Thrills.
Ya
Either that or theme park crazy
Dude made 45 accounts
He probably disapproves Behemoth being in the top 5 for B&M's hypers too :D

Taylor: Puts Raging Bull Outside Top 10
Airtime Thrills: *ANGERY*
Love how you captured the fountain both on-ride and off-ride for Candymonium! Great Video!
raging bull is sooo underrated
It’s become so overrated recently. I got no airtime, even on the first drop in the very back row
@@justiceleaguebattleformetr9239 how many rides did you get on it
and maybe the ride didn't get time to warm up
Amazing video as usual, but you already know I'm a little salty Raging Bull didn't make the cut!
Shambala is actually amazing, so much airtime, so much force and one of the best first drops ever
and soft, so enjoyable
They're not the *strongest* forces--mostly floater air--but you get a lot of it. There's an ejector pop on the speed hill right after the "ampersand" turnaround. And the ride is just physically beautiful, with gorgeous theming and a lovely paint scheme, and it was built over Dragon Khan so that the two interact in clever ways.
If Shambhala has a weakness it's that the ending is kind of subdued: there's a midcourse brake run when the ride is almost over, and the couple of hills after that don't do much. But the ride up to that point is magnificent.
@@MattMcIrvin yah, the way it combines with Dragon Khan is incredible
The only b&m hypers ive ridden:
1. Mako
2. Candymonium
3. Nitro
4. Apollo
That’s a good list agreed
makos great, my first hyper, candymonium is hit or miss, sometimes the airtime is great and sometimes it’s weak. Little bit of a short ride. Nitro is great, rode that in 2019, was pretty intense and airtime was on-par with diamondback. It does have a TINY rattle, but it’s barely noticeable. Apollos great, little bit of a rattle. I rode it in the pouring rain, and got pelted in the face. Overall, even though mako isn’t my favorite hyper, it’s still a great ride! They’re all great rides!!
I love these types of videos, countdowns are awesome and I would love to see more of these, Coaster studios = best RUclipsr ever.
💯 % true
I can double everything you just said in that comment
I agree. I’ve been a subscriber since 2015
It’s been said before, and it will be said again: “YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH A B&M HYPER!” -TPC
It's really true. Even if people think they aren't unique enough, they are ALWAYS fun.
so true
Unless it is called Silver star🥴😂
Idk I went back to six flags georgia and goliath hurt me
@@tigovanrooij9926 Silver Star in the back on a hot summer day has only 1 decent pop of airtime and that is off the midcourse brake run. I don't get how it isn't bottom spot here, because I think it's an awful coaster considering the money spent on it and its height. That being said, haven't actually been to the US yet.
I’ve ridden three and heres how I’d rank them
3: Nitro
2: Candomonium
1: Goliath SFOG
i agree
The candymonium love makes me very happy, as other people I have talked to put it near the bottom of their list. I'm a huge fan of candymonium myself, and marathoning it this past summer was a joy!
This video is not complete if the quote “You can’t go wrong with a B&M hyper” isn’t in here.
True!
Well the video is complete
Great List! Behemoth in the back row at night is amazing and gives crazy flojector over the First drop and all the other hills!
WOW!!! BEHMOTH IS NUMBER 4!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! IT'S NOMRALLY A TOP 8 FOR PPL WOW! THANK YOU!!!! WONDERLAND IS MY HOME PARK!! THANK YOU! SO MUCH TAYLOR!!
I'm glad Behemoth is on the list :) You haven't done a review of it just yet, but I'm glad Behemoth is getting some love, because it's super underrated. Lots of great airtime, and I've gotten almost borderline ejector airtime in the front and back, especially when you're in the front :) It's just airtime alley for Behemoth, and I think it's the best out the Cedar Fair 2nd generation B&M hypers, even though it was the first of B&M's 2nd gen hypers. I'm an airtime person, and Behemoth definitely delivers in the airtime category. I can't believe Behemoth is already 13 years old now too :O Although it does have quite a rattle, but Idc. Just a final point: Behemoth has a killer looking entrance sign.
Interesting list…Diamondback is my favorite of the B&M Hypers and I actually think it gives the best airtime in the back row.
Although Shambhala had the better layout, I still preferred Mako over it. That first airtime hill on Mako made me grab onto the seat, and plus the music up the lift hill adds to the experience.
Why don't u review rollercoaster scenes from cartoons? That be awesome.
Oh, I've got a story about Diamondback! Last time I was at King's Island, My group had Fast lane plus, so we got a lot of rides, and one time, as we're about to board, one of the ride ops says, "This is Taylor from Coaster Studios-" I couldn't hear the rest because everyone in my group just went nuts over this. It was a dead-on impression, too.
I’ve ridden all of these and for me Shambhala is just head and shoulders above the rest. A phenomenal coaster.
Behemoth’s three back to back airtime hills are a vibe
Those airtime hills are the icing on the cake :D
Number one: orio-
love behemoth’s placement. behemoth is such a fun ride and it’s my favourite at wonderland. it’s my home park as well!!!
Hi from Toronto Canada. Glad to see Behemoth on your list. Canada's Wonderland is my home park. I rode Behemoth a couple of weeks ago. Great ride. A the coasters look like fun. Thank you for this..
The best part about Mako is that I've never seen the line over 15 minutes, so you can go ride Infinity Falls, get soaked, and ride Mako a couple times and dry off!
I'd say Shambhala was B&M's warmup for building gigas, but actually it opened a few days after B&M's first giga (Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland), so they were building them simultaneously.
I like all of the B&M Roller Coasters! I remembered riding on a B&M Hyper Coaster, B&M inverted Coaster, B&M Stand Up Coaster, B&M Floorless Coaster, and Sit Downs!
YESSSSS! This made my day I was having a terrible time then this erased my boredom
Nailed this list!
Goliath is my favorite B&M hyper because of the fact that it leaves the park, and it's setting, and the helix, there is nothing like it on other B&M hypers, i like rides based off of setting instead of just intensity, i'd also put apollo's chariot top 5, even though some parts of the ride are forceless, i love the fact that it goes through the woods.
From what I've done: 1. Mako 2. Diamondback 3. Candymonium 4. Behemoth 5. Intimidator. I really think all 5 are fantastic rides though, and Intimidator and Behemoth are both really underrated. But my top 3 are just on another level.
Only ridden Behemoth and Shambhalla, Shambhalla being my number 1 coaster, I need to get on more of these.
Really interesting to see your list. I feel like there's no real consensus on a ranking of the B&M hypers, there's just so little separating them from each other.
Agreed. That’s kind of what happens when a ride model tends to feature the same elements over and over again- they all feel similar. All of the B&M hypers are great rides!
Mako is my favorite B&M hyper
I always wanted to ride mako.
Same
It’s currently number 2 for me behind candymonium but I also haven’t rode mako since 2018 so we’ll see how it is after I ride it ahain
Raging Bull was one of the first coasters I ever rode... it has such a special place in my heart!! It's the only one on this list I've been on so I'm biased and sad it's not cracking the top 10 but I'd love to ride any of these other ones someday :)
I`ve only ridden Silverstar 15 years ago. In 2 weeks I`ll ride Shambala.... ow boy it sits in first spot on your list. While I`m not used to riding any coasters anymore... It will freak my out completely.
Oh I also agree about intimidator that one took me by surprise. I feel like I’ve heard almost nothing about that ride good or bad it seems kind of forgotten and yeah the few times I do see it tends to get put down but it was actually my second favorite at Carowinds! Maybe it was a good day but every ride I had it gave pretty good air time on every hill and I enjoyed the layout.
As a Californian... B&M makes hypers?!
Hopefully we get the first B&M hyper in the west at California's Great America, which is part of their masterplan.
@@zacharyyamashita8554 This!!!!
Smh can't believe Firey Fist O' Pain did not make the list.
It’s because it’s a b&m stratospheric coaster
Nah the Firey Fist O’ Pain is actually a Intamin Hyper so it didn’t make the list
Dude I think you have a few things to discuss with Chris from AirtimeThrills
Intrimidator over Diamondback? Pfft.
InTRIMinator and Mako over Diamondback LOL.
just rode diamondback a little over a week before writing this comment. i sat in the back and fully prepared myself to be yanked around but was absolutely surprised to find...a smooth ride? this was my first time riding it, and i was absolutely shocked at how smooth it was compared to everything people have said abt the rattle. the airtime was also absolutely incredible! it blew my expectations away by a lot:)
I rode intimidator yesterday and it made my number one hyper so far! it does not disappoint!
Love the list videos
it's strange for me as the only one I've done is shambhala, but looking at some of these different ones, it sort of makes me think is shambhala really that good. But seeing it rank first for you motivates me to ride so much more of these types.. you can't go wrong with a B&M hyper!
Can we get a Behemoth Review soon?
YES PLEASE
He said when he made the Leviathan review that he would do Behemoth soon. So maybe he will once he goes back to CW.
I only did Silver Star and Shambhala but yes Shambhala is really good. It looks just nice and it's smooth and fun
I’ve only ridden Diamondback but I’m looking forward to riding these in the future
They might not to be the most coaster enthusiast's favourites, but they are all together such beautiful-looking roller coasters.
I've only done Silver Star and Shambhala, but I do think that Silver Star is underappreciated. I really had so much airtime on it. But it was my very first coaster that tall (over 200ft), so that was a new experience for me. So I may be biased because of that ;)
Raging Bull is super underrated
4:40 You said it perfectly its got great airtime hills and a forceful helix but its got a very strong rattle but it is my favorite b and m hyper out of diamond back intimidator and Goliath.
My favorite is diamondback but I’ve only ridden that, Apollo, and raging Bull. Surprised you put diamondback this low bc even with the rattle I got crazy airtime on that. I hope to ride the other ones someday
Likely planning a trip to SeaWorld to ride Mako this year, hopefully Goliath and Nitro if we make it up to see family. Rode on Raging Bull back in the day and it's still my favorite coaster I've ridden. Can't wait to see how the rest compare!
I will be visiting Six Flags Great Adventure and Kings Island this summer for the first time. Really exited for Diamond Back and Nitro. I haven’t ridded a B&M hyper yet
Rode Mako yesterday! so happy to see it high up on this list cuz i thought it was awesome :) We got to stay seated and go a second time cuz nobody was in line. Only other one i’ve done is Goliath but would love to ride candymonium
Loved behemoth and leviathan. But, Yukon Striker? Chef kiss!
I definitely have a lot of respect for Over Georgia's Goliath as it was my first Hyper Coaster.
Rode when I was getting over my second coaster phobia and glad I did; would probably not have ridden the Giga's or Top Thrill Dragster if it wasn't for it.
Awesome! You should do an invert list
When I lived in Germany I lived close enough to Europa Park to ALMOST treat it as a home park. I agree that the second half of Silver Star is better, but it is fun to walk underneath that thing when you’re headed into the park.
I was so excited to see behemoth on this list, as it is at my home park! I have not ridden it yet, but it is my dads favorite roller coaster, so i am excited to ride it this summer
I’m going to Hershey for the first time in May, can’t wait to ride Candymonium and Skyrush!
Apollo’s Chariot is one of the weaker hypers, and I’ve only ridden that and Mako, but the last time I was at Busch Gardens they had sped up the lift hill and turned off the trims, and I was flying. That drop off the MCBR gave some SERIOUS ejector air, and even the big hills were giving solid floater. It is a bit rough in spots, but it’s still one of my favorite coasters at BGW. I’ve ridden it more than any other coaster except Alpengeist, both of which are at my home park
I rode Goliath twice today. the first time it was pretty smooth (obviously not like it was when it was new) but it had also just opened for the day, the 2nd time was less than 30 minutes before closing and it felt like riding a Jackhammer.
Airtime thrills ain’t gonna be happy with this list
Raging Bull thanks you for the mention.
I get excited every time someone talks about a park in Orlando since I live there lol
Nitro is the bomb! I’m going to try Mako this summer so I’m very excited for that!!!
Actually only on three hypers as of now. Mine are Raging Bull, SFOG Goliath and Mako in that order. Hoping to get Apollo's Chariot, Nitro, Candymonium and Diamondback in this year.
Tried shambala. An absolutely incredible experience, can’t wait to do so again as soon as COVID lets us!!!
I would say Shambhala looks like the best out of B&M's four 2nd gen hyper coasters, by far~
@@TonyKimtheamusementparkfan cant agree more. All of them are a great and comfortable experience gotta say tho.
@@comunidadshurmanosoficial9576 Again, you can never go wrong with a B&M hyper
Raging Bull is a great coaster as well, but I noticed people either love or hate it. I agree on Diamondback being #8!
I think Nitro is top 3 in the US especially this year in the D train. It’s a little bumpier than the other trains but it hauls through the layout to the point where you sometimes get ejector airtime on the return hills. I personally have only got a mix of floater and ejector. Nitro is definitely criminally underrated though
Can you do a world class park video? Like all parks that you would consider must visits, doesn’t have to be in any particular order. Trying to plan out small trips where able and I’d love to hit those that are just out of this world for sure and you’ve been to quite a few. Port Aventura would never have come to mind previously

Ive been on Intimidator and Behemoth both are incredible!!! Intimidator was my first hyper and Behemoth is my favorite. If you sit in the back of Behemoth the first drop feels like Leviathan’s. You really get yanked over!
I always head for the last row on Behemoth and Leviathan. Especially love seeing the train snake in front of me.
Raging Bull deserves better, honestly my favorite hyper.
Intimidator will always be my favorite. I don’t if I just rode it on it’s good days, but the back row gave me some of the best sustained airtime I’ve gotten on a roller coaster.
Intimidator my favorite ride as well. I always get back seat on the left.
totally agree with your list
Coaster studios is back with the reviews
Can you do a top 10 favorite roller coasters? Love your vids so much
It’s rare I see my home park mentioned, but Goliath is amazing! It was my favorite ride in the park until Twisted Cyclone. I’m moving soon and will have a different home park now. I’m sad I didn’t go more this year. I literally lived 10 mins away from it. And now while I have 2 parks to choose from both are 2 hours a day so no more spontaneous trips to Six Flags.
Taylor is right about Goliath at SFOG. It has a great layout but the ride experience can be very rough, especially towards the back rows. Sitting near the front takes away a lot of the roughness. If some work was done to Goliath to make the ride a smoother experience, I'd rate it at or near the top of the B&M Hyper coasters that I've ridden (and I've ridden 5).
someone said that goliath at over georgia its the best b&m hyper period (despite mako being better)
