Kenyans needs to organize themselves and remove this illegal illegitimate regime.
Yet u still expect to get security medication for free yaani buree tu bila kulipa tax
@@tonygee5680You mean no one is being taxed in Kenya today? In Kenya a tax free nation?
@@teresiawachira1034 Right? Watu ni mdomo tu as if nobody has been paying taxes since independence and now KK government is the first to ever collect taxes.
@@teresiawachira1034maisha iko sawa huku mt.kenya na nandi mbolea ilishuka kutoka 6500 mpka 2500 na mafuta ni 100 huko kuko sawa ss ni shareholder
@@tonygee5680 you wont get even if you are taxed. this is money going to peoples pockets
Have Billow kerrow as your resident economic panelist....He simplifies economics.
Muinde a brilliant chap.
Billow brilliant and patriotic.
CT and Ondu, insightful.
I learnt a lot from this show. Wonderful and very insightful. It’s the only program I can watch from Kenya👍🏼👍🏼🙏
Definitely a great show, I only wish they, especially CT would let panelists answer one question at a time without interrupting their detailed responses and eviscerating the original question and train of thought.
Kenyans are suffering beyond words.
Why then are we so quiet?
@@wanjirukinuva8598
That's the BIG Q
@bettyimbahala wapi mt.kenya na nandi maisha iko sawa mbolea ni 2500 kutoka 6500 na mafuta ni 100 huku tuko sawa
@@wanjirukinuva8598 Because the working class is afraid to lose its comforts and way of life...we kinda suspect that if we did that, the employers will not be on board and will fire the people who protest
@wanjirukinuva8598 Kenyans have the habit of confusing confusion with resilience. We make poor decisions during elections and end up suffering the effects of the same decisions in silence. How long will this go on? That is the million-dollar question!
One program i love watching and learning from it
CT is onto something on why elected and government officials are paid so generously, but I believe the premise was simply that "muheshimiwas" must have enough money to portray a certain standard of living/economic status to their electorate in a country that measures success by the yardstick of wealth no matter where the latter came from. Quite a dubious premise to begin with, but exacerbated by the complicity of the electorate because they've simultaneously been socialized to accept hand-outs during campaigns and day-to-day living. Eventually, the national culture became one of nefarious symbiosis where wananchi actually now expect their wameshimiwa to demand higher pay so that they can subsidize their electorate livelihoods in harambees, churches, and other social hand-out occasions.
I feel the pain am in Germany things have also risen here but the government is trying to cushion folks but I imagine folks at the bottom at home where even unga is luxury its dire.I imagine if right now the german goverment increases any tax ppl will be on the streets mbaya sana ppl shud wake up.
Insightful discussion; really enjoed listening. The Situation Room somehow encourages a positive skepticism, but has never ever decended into cynicism. What a wonderful feature of this show. It leaves me optimistic and yet challenges the powers: show me more evidence, tell me more, do you know what you are doing?
While we’re fighting amongst one another for being one tribe or another, one religion or the next, hustler v dynasty. All the while they eat together.
The resilience of Kenyans comes with divide rule, these taxes are not introduced at once to all sectors. It started with Salaried Kenyans and the others in informal sector said its none of their concern.
"Kenyans are resilience" is a slave master slogan , this is suffering with no options
@@nyakwargari
Demonstrations.
Very insightful discussion
Thank you CT.
A time is coming when this 'darling of the West' will face the wrath of his people. Mobutu, Saddam Hussein, Kabila, and Museveni were once darlings of the West.
Surely very soon😮😮😮
In fact Ruto anajikaranga unknowingly
Na bado. More fuel increases coming next month
Muga is talking too much truth. Eti it is easier to roam and talk out there than to govern well!🤣🤣🤣
This might explain why the government is roaming all over the world and nation and running mouths in blame and rubbish excuses, instead of governing and resolving problems😂😂😂
Quite an insightful conversation. The fact that the government is squeezing the middleclass is rather worrying as they attempt to wade off "public apathy". I believe Kenyans need to demonstrate without relying on politicians. Thats the only language the political elites can understand
Hon. Kerrow has mentioned that there is an aspect of brokerage fee in the G to G deals that adds to fuel costs. Could he please elaborate.
Kenyans were divided along tribe
Kindly bring to the hot seat the CS treasury. If not possible the ps if not available the governor CBK. Hii kweli inaturamba rambi rambi
FACTSSSS
Kenyans that have bond holdings should start diversifying their portfolios, hold hard currencies and look to regional investments. The KES is already sliding down the rabbit hole. Preppers Saccos is the next growth segment and firearms.
Firearms through commodities? Kindly explain what you mean by preppers saccos
I want ruto increase taxes by 1000 trillion shillings. Wacha kenyans suffer more pain. This is your serekali kikuyu and kalenjin nation.
Anger will take you know where
@@kabuthakabutha9472
You think so??
It is not the employees stealing, but the government itself
When Omutata goes to court, the courts don't rule for the people.
The courts are not with the ordinary kenyans
If this KK Govt did not come to Power we would have thought Kenyans lost an oppurtunity for the best Gov.
Farmers usually pay cess levy to the county governments when taking their produce from the farm to markets.
Good discussion I wish you should invite Government officials so that they can see the situation on the ground and also hear their side of the story
Haven't u already heard the gvt side of the story?Ama wat else do u need to be told to know that this gvt is clueless?
@@dukakisomondi8552 The government is not clueless, they’re just greedy folks
@@kamasalothi1040Kwani the two are mutually exclusive?
U don't believe a gvt can be clueless and greedy at the same time?
If they are not clueless, y are they not solving even the simplest problems?
Greed is about taking things.
Cluelessness is about doing things.
Learn to differentiate the two.
@@dukakisomondi8552
Brilliantly insightful.
80% of Kenyans are living below the poverty line. Businesses are collapsing and government is collecting less taxes even after imposing more taxes. Whats the solution ? More trouble for businesses
Where is Eric?
Kenyans need to protest !!!
All that ruto said in 2022 was to help him get power. Now that he s in power, why wd he bother with plans, documents, etc?
So long as kenyan still appear on rallies and cheer politicians and treating them as celebrities nothing will change.
Parliament has made it hard for the voters to recall them.
For a moment I thought TSR invited pastor nganga to economic discussion
The darling of west is impressing IMF and world bank on the cost of Wanjiku
It’s very easy to point at what’s not working and issues.. but i wish we could spend a lot more time to point at solutions and way out…
Kwani hausikilizi?
Solutions are always given in these and other shows but the people who can effect those changes don't wanna listen.
there is wea u go wrong.
How many times during demonstrations did akina Raila offer solutions to this regime and they rubbished it?
Ama in what form do u want the 'solutions' to be said, for u to agree people have been offering solutions?
In any case, who is paying us to offer solutions?
What do you want them to do?😳
So they didn't have solutions coming to power?
😂😂😂😂did you say taxing school eeeeeiiiiish muy God have mercy on Kenyans
Please ask the panelists questions and not explain or elaborate on questions.
Just to remind all the leaders who represent kenyans they should remember that more than 65% are young people if one day they a going to decide and say enough is enough kenya itawaka moto
Can’t they think of other ways of generating revenue? I thought we elected brilliant minds but I’m surprised they’ve resorted to increasing taxes
I don't enjoy the interview because interviewees take more time talking than panel. The interjections are too much. Let the panelists talk!
We need demonstration without Raila.
That straw is gonna break soon and it’s going to shake the country .
Working people with basic wage aredying a death with taxes when you talk to them about striking that are scared to demonstrate. The sre scared to be jailed or killed

That's the problem Kenya is facing; starting from the President all the way down to MCAs and to the Hasoras. Business to them is deals (tenders)!
43:21
That's where fake heroism (Pan Africanism) comes in 😅
Personally i did not vote for Ruto BUT next year I MUST vote Ruto. Let us suffer even more!!!! Ruto please even oxygen tax it. Even voting must be taxed, lets go!
Do not balance the books on the backs of poor people.
Mambo ni mawili.
Ruto aende.
ama
Kenya iende.
The disconnect between the political class (especially from those in government) & the citizens is shocking. The trigger is quickly coming and those in power will not know what will hit them. My prayer is that the opposition remain quiet and desist from calling for “maandamano.” Let it be a citizen-led process; that’s the only language these clueless clowns understand. There is a difference between a wedding and a marriage. KK government were ready for a wedding but never prepared for a marriage!
All policies need to be run through Kenyans
We need a debate between ahmednasir and billow bana so badly
Billow will debunk ahmednasir
Kerrow likes protesting!! Where? Indoors au? Is Billow a Luo? Because its only Luos who protest. God help Kenya. Am getting you guys from 🇹🇿
Protest only if following raila? Everyone is so tribal and can’t unite when addressing a problem common to wanainchi
Real debt is 600 trillion shillings and intrest is 90 trillion shillings in dollars denomination. Kenyans lipa next 800 years.
😂😂you have exaggerated it
Numbers zangu real. Hizo patiwa serekali are lies. Kenyans lipa next 800 years debt
Raila said it in 2017...ukizaliwa tu uko na deni yako ya 700 thousand inakungoja.
We have voted in corrupt politicians based on tribal affiliations and religion. The same leaders have mismanaged your economy and borrowed extravagantly and now we have to pay this debts . Chickens are coming home to roost and we have no one to blame but ourselves and pay the price of our repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.
Yesterday nyandarua senator was giving 5 million in cash by the president to give to a church 😅
Guys is it called living in a bubble.!!!!! The president is living in a bubble!!!!
CT said it as it should. If you dont know what to say then just speak grandiose stuff
You thought Uhuru was bad.... deal with it
The problem with Uhuru was too ambitious. Building roads with commercial loans that are now due to be serviced, further more he took away my job at the port via he's pet project sgr. Let him go to the land of Kajitombee!
Printing money digitally, copy, paste, repeat unfortunately QRhas not been taken up wholly
More support for kenyan innovation
What do you mean Kenyans don't feel the pain directly buana , fares , food prices , electricity tokens ... Patrick is a posh mdoshi , he does not interact with Mama mboga na mtu wa Boda askie vile watu wanalia juu ya taxes 😂
maze PAYE na Housing tax ziukuwa more painful
CT & Nduh you are too much. Let guests explain
Lies Looto is very daft.
Kenya's becoming depressing day by day...
