Thanks prof Njuguna, you really changed so many people's Mind kwa ground. May THE GOOD LORD Help our PRESIDENT to bring MOTHER KENYA to Prosperity in JESUS NAME. ❤❤
The Professor Is a great Interview; But In future the Interviewers need to do more preparation and consultations with professionals in order to extract more information from such a technical interviewee. Great Interview and show!
The man is knowledgeable but the tragedy is that he is working for the wrong establishment that has just hired people to play flower girls and it matters not whether you have or does not have capacity. What he is saying is not what he is doing.
the interviewers are just right, the good professor is just not ready to divulge information. Economics is 80% common sense, 10% semantics and 10% technical. There is nothing technical in what he is saying
Thank you for the great debate. Prof is well versed in economics, an interview between him and another economic expert on the status of the Kenyan economy would be great. His economic discourse is leaving the panel dazed, which calls for an expert-to-expert debate on issues affecting mama mboga.
Loved the show, he needs to be a regular and limit the discussion around 1 or 2 issues so that it is discussed and closed in depth. I wish they only focused on tax or only on budgeting or debt planning.
Ok, note also that the borrowing was unconstitutional and the money was not even deposited in the consolidated account and therefore repayment is unlawful. EuroBond and other loans to me are just personal loans but Kenyans are the collateral security. Kenyans should have nothing to do with them. There's no single project that was tied to euro bond for instance.
No one has asked him about the huge waste in government, duplication and massive corruption. When you have no money you cut costs. Start by reducing the number of counties, Reduce massive payroll. Reduce kenya embassies, government trips abroad. Etc etc
If a crook contracts a debt from a crook outside Kenya purporting to be acting in the name of the people of Kenya but outside of the legally mandated processes that debt is ilegal and the people of Kenya have no obligation. The crooks must recover that debt from whoever
Kenya economy is being supported by diaspora. Send 2 trillion shillings a month next 7 years. Government fail to at every thing. Sasa kenya is a diaspora economy only
As a neutral, i believe the economic mess and recklessness made by Uhuru will haunt this country for the next 50yrs. He literally auctioned this country to its debtors we are now slaves. People say but ruto was the dp but we all know the buck stops at the president, I always ask myself if ruto was that influential as the deputy doesnt it show how weak uhuru was🤔. About saving the country the travel cut cost are for PR, the real and painful solutions are things like laying off 30% of all civil servants, cut funding to welfare programs like free maternity na pesa ya wazee, scrap of NHIF, reduce education money...etc we need serious solutions. Its going to be painful buy there is no other way
Uhuru was as weak as you would want to believe but that seat never deflated him the way it has done with Ruto until we are left wondering whether Kenya installed a ballon for president.
The very able Ruto was at the very fore front campaigning for their reelection with full knowledge that the country was sinking in the hands of Uhuru. The fact is that he was a saboteur and no wonder they are always crying sabotage. He has been on the wheel for only one year but the entire world knows that he has nothing to offer. He is just hot air.
@@userrrtruest Their plan is to watch over their interests whether those align with ours or not. Trust me they have no plans to make sure we remain poor forever, we already do that for ourselves we do not need their help on that.
Now you know who was in charge of the brains that have been controlling the policy strings of Kenya's economy from the Moi Years, through to the Ruto era... for the very creator of this think tank is now the one steering our economic future. Mchezo wa kitambo my guys!!! We're only now starting to see juuuuust a pinch of the true scheme.
Guys ar the studio. Next time please give your guest time to exhaustively respond to a question you pose to them. Ndingu failed to addeess certain important issues because you kept interupting the flow of information. You did poorly this time and Ndungu outsmarted you. We endedup not getting certain facts out of him. You interupted the flow unnecessarily.
So what, this is common knowledge, this is not the first regime to pay debts, we have been doing it since 1963. Why shout about it while it's your responsibility to govern and everything that comes with it. That's the reason you have been elected, not to be perpetual crybabies
If I give you 100 shillings to use as a Kenyan. Wouldn't it be prudent that you break it down to the last cent for me to know how you used it before I give you the next 100 shilling.
@crazytrackler.6427 am a social worker too but I really understand these macroeconomic issues. That guy lamenting is not even a social worker... He is just bitter
This guys are some of the best interiewers in Kenya but the interviewee in this case is a very cunning and smart individual who caught them unawares and yes unprepared. No one is perfect.

A very bright Prof. Right man for the job, if he is not crowded with so much politics..
The brain behind grandpa kibaki 😢 well conversed

Spice FM should have podcasts that have different think tanks that ran for 4 weeks
Many big thinks but at least i appreciate profs explanation of the markets. That sounds like the real fix needed.
What a brilliant mind

He has tangatangad around the facts. A truly ethical professional shouldn't accept to serve in a corrupt system.
Did the market fail or is it that governance & policy failed?
Its like he's reading a book, very sober, informed and articulate, now compare him to 'wanna be' economists like Kimani Ichungwa
interpretation should be,,,, don't change things that ar already working
His reasoning is at a whole higher level...
Quite admirable.
I like Prof. I hope KK will allow him to work, these cartels are too much!
Regardless!
Wacha kizungu mingi professor, hii deni inalipwa na haipungui?,pesa ya euro bond haikufika yote central bank, balance ilienda wapi?
are Kenyans listening ,to what the Prof is telling ,or we busy talking about high cost of living, is this the root cause of it?
Debts must be paid. The edible oils, crude oils money etc. No problem

Goodwork! But next time, engage more
Maybe the IMF and World Bank should be auditing after lending all that money.
They don't care, their plan is to make sure a country they lend the money remains forever poor..

Debt, politics, corruption eat more than 100pc
Simple question is what is the role of corruption in all of this mess? His answer would be we need an audit
