I wholeheartedly share your love of miniatures! I still have my grandmother's miniature "ice cream shop", complete with tiny cones, straws, and napkins. It is over 60 years old, and when my granddaughters visited this Christmas, I was just as excited as them as we enjoyed real ice cream in little cones no bigger than a thumbnail. 💜

I’m a rock collector. I have bowls of them in my house. I can often be found with a dish of water and my rocks. The beauty is uncovered in water. 😊 It’s very grounding for me.
I am a rock collector too. So much so, that when we remodelled our garden we created a lovely path of Scottish beach pebbles. Whenever it rains, as it often does in England, I so enjoy how the water transforms the colours and makes the path glisten like a river!

It's amazing how a few bits of moss, small twigs and a pinch of clay can turn out to be a beautiful miniature. You are so talented and creative. Those carved wooden accents will look so pretty on the wooden wildow frames or as wall decor. You must take care yourself first. We will be here whenever you are able to share part of your day with us.

I love the beautiful wood carvings, and the way they come to life with the stain brushed on them. We all need to find our inner child, it nourshes and fills us with wonder. I am 66 years young, and also live a very quiet life, on my own with my black rescue greyhound Madge, only going out of the the house to walk her in nature, which is all around me. I am a rock collector too. So much so, that when we remodelled our garden we created a lovely path of Scottish beach pebbles. Whenever it rains, as it often does in England, I so enjoy how the water transforms the colours and makes the path glisten like a river!

It's amazing how a few bits of moss, small twigs and a pinch of clay can turn out to be a beautiful miniature. You are so talented and creative. Those carved wooden accents will look so pretty on the wooden wildow frames or as wall decor. You must take care yourself first. We will be here whenever you are able to share part of your day with us.

Very inspiring - I’m going to try making miniature dioramas to fill my time shortly after moving my mother and myself under one roof due to her dementia. I “retired “ early about two years ago to make more time to care for her. I believe only managing one household vs two will give me time to actually enjoy my retirement to a degree. I love the beautiful wood carvings, and the way they come to life with the stain brushed on them. We all need to find our inner child, it nourshes and fills us with wonder. I am 66 years young, and also live a very quiet life, on my own with my black rescue greyhound Madge, only going out of the the house to walk her in nature, which is all around me. I love all crafts, and paint pottery, and love natural things that inspire me. The simple things in life are the best gifts I feel. Thank you for this lovely video. When I was little I was the self -appointed Rock Club President judging my friends stones we found along the ravine and in the prairie. We all kept a log about the characteristics we observed in each rock under a warm sun or after a mid afternoon rain shower.
