God damn it Vince put these guys in the hall of fame. I remember them well as a child and I remember them standing out as different from other tag teams. Love em
Every interview I have seen Greg in he is the same never a bad word about anybody he wrestled against or with even though he was a heel . He always had respect for the other guys . Although Brutus wasn't one of my favorites I'm more of a pre Brutus wrestling fan . The dream team was awesome . Much respect to both these guys most of the wrestlers their age have either passed or are in really poor health . And Brutus is lucky to be alive after that accident with the boat he had . So much respect to him for overcoming it and getting back on the ring after such a near fatal accident .
Just to see these 2 legends together again after so many years of not watching wrestling is a gem. I'm so happy they are alive and can tell their story..i had to shed a tear because they were part of upbringing even though they were "the evil guys". Thank you!
Seriously is there anything better then just two good guys telling glory day stories. They got my vote, dream team HOF! thanks for all the memories great stuff!
I concur there have been wrestlers that went in individually then again as part of tag team or faction like flair by himself and then with horseken and booker t by himself and then with his brother as harlem heat
The tag team match against the British Bulldogs was one of the highlights of my childhood even though I was screaming at the television at the ref counting a pin for Greg who got knocked out and conveniently fell on top of the also knocked out Bulldog.
Yeah beefcake could wrestle Hogan's pants down around his ankles and blow him again for the 50 thousandth time... That's about the only thing beefcake is wrestling. Greg is great a true legend 👍👍👍..
Can-Am Connection consisted of Martel and Zenk around WMIII. Zenk quit shortly afterwards and eventuelly WWF put together Martel and Santana as StrikeForce I think for the first Survivor Series.
This is shout out for Greg The Hammer Valentine, back in 1977, Ossian arrest allowed in fort Lauderdale national guard armory, I was young ladies to help set up and tear down the ring, love watching you perform, you were definitely one of my, of all time, behind the briscoe.
At that time Windham went back to NWA was no Wcw yet but Barry has been infamous for leaving the NWA or wwf whenever he felt like it but places always bring him back
love these guys back in the day...they need to make some personal appearances together . come to dinnner with valentine and beefcake, im sure if the prices were fare, they'd make a killing.
Those new wwe elite action figures hammer is talking about are hard to find. He’s not lying. If anyone finds those new elite action figures BUY THEM 💯 they’re gonna be worth some money 💯💯💯💯
Jesus Christ !!!! he needs to change his name from Brutus Beefcake to Brutus Eats-Cake ... Brutus Beefcake looks like he ate Greg Valentine.. LJN WWF WRESTLING SUPERSTARS FOREVER !!!
My late brother and I used to wrestle in the neighborhood as the Dream Team. Back when we were young enough to believe it was real. A lot of battered kids on the block! Lol!
When I was a kid watching NWA I thought the Hammer was the toughest looking man on earth. He is so well spoken, polite and sensitive. I bet it would be fun to burn one with him
The hammer is great , different time so a little of youngsters would find it boring but he was great I think Brutus gets a little too much abuse , prob as some think he only ever made money Cos of his friendship with hogan but that’s harsh , like they say on this interview he was a top wrestler for a long time
Guys like you don't understand wrestling. Brutus was a huge talent and the WWF agree's with me. After the Dream Team ended he went on with a great push as the Barber and even had his own Barbershop segment. And do me a favor and go back and watch some of his matches in his heyday. Stop listening to your conformist friends who tell you how to think. Be bold and think for yourself Brother!
@@gopherstate777 Wow that was written with conviction and positivity, well done! I still disagree. Brutus was arrogant and rude to an interviewer I watch on RUclips. There was no excuse for it. And when you watch this interview it’s not much different. He thinks he was in LA for wrestlemania 2 and loves to talk about how tough he was. “The dream team were tough for them brother!” Meanwhile Valentine is way more humble and fun to listen to. Brutus sucked with the dream team. When he became the barber he had a good run but when I go back and watch his matches they are kinda lame and his interviews are Hogan esque like he’s just trying to act like Hogan.
When I was about 8yrs old, Brutus The Barber Beefcake was my favorite wrestler for quite awhile. Greg I usually cheered for, unless he was up against one of my favorites. Until he joined up with Honkytonk Man. As much as I like both of these guys now, this interview is hard to listen to. They're both trying to talk at the same time, and neither wants to stop, let the other finish, then talk.
I had that same feeling and watched this in segments as it was hard to watch. As the 1 hr and 13 min progressed I did notice they would eventually let each other speak as well as seeming generally interested in what the other was saying. They are indeed great friends who knew each other for 4 decades
Beefcake has a point. The fans want the babyfaces to win. The Dream Team could have held onto the titles on a technicality and the fans would still be happy b/c their guys won. The fans would say stuff like, “man the bulldogs almost won those belts. Next time The Bulldogs WILL beat them!” It could have been stretched out for months, making money all over the country.
He was 1971 roman Greco wrestling champion winning a gold medal at 180 lbs in 1972 he did help train the Olympic wrestling team.. just so everybody knows instead of just saying he wasn't in the Olympics. Cos is one of the greatest Roman Greco wrestlers to live and a bonefied badass. Then lost his damn mind talking about fucking dudes especially Hogan's ass...
The Dream Team was the Best. I remember when those big rubber wrestling figures came out. My brothers bothers went the baby face. Not me I went straight for the Dream Team and Macho Man Randy Savage. If you want to play with my figures they remained championd
Barry windham is notorious for just getting up and leave without telling anyone. Barry would disappear for months sometimes even years and he would just be at home.
I just can't deal with Brutus. His appearance, the jewelry, his demeanor, etc. He just has that Florida trash, past his prime, pill popper thing down pat.

One of the most underrated teams ever. Huge heat as well as babyface pops.
Always loved Thhe Hammer, no one took a better face plant than The Hammer.
The hammer is real has been reel and will always be real ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Much respect Sir for the entertainment you have brought to my life ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was my fave tag team as a young fella.. still have both of their LJN figures... great memories.. thank you lads..
Brother Brutus’ LJN is actually my favorite looking one from the entire line. Valentines looks awesome too.
@@chrisr8704 I was so wrapt as a kid to get Brutus.. have started collecting them again... WAAAY more expensive these days!!
@@paulhobson2391 yea I’ve spent a small fortune on some of mine. Insane.
I still have many of the LJN figures from when I was a child

I love these guys, no bullshit, just genuinely great blokes.
Love these old school guys can listen to them for hours I don't even watch current product just search for shoots
This great. I finally get to watch the whole interview.
DREAM TEAM belong in the HOF. If the bushwackers are in there, then the dream team certainly belong in there.
I concur there have been wrestlers that went in individually then again as part of tag team or faction like flair by himself and then with horseken and booker t by himself and then with his brother as harlem heat
The hammer was the truth. Loved him and flair tag
You dudes are a trip i sure miss the good old days
56:43-Brutus (Ed) is just a great guy! And for the record, i LOVED Brutus the Barber Beefecake!
I loved Brutus back in the day. 😊
This is awesome! Two of the best.
The part With Stu and the cat while he was on the phone 😲😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the upload. Enjoyed this shoot immensely!
There needs to be way more interviews like this. These are so informative about the history of sports entertainment and they need to be archived!!!!
I remember when Greg came on the scene breaking people's legs with the figure 4. Ruthless!
Welp, looks like I know what I'm doing for the next hour and thirteen minutes.
If I had a nickle for every story that starts with " We were smoking a joint" . Great video they obviously had a blast
Awesome shoot! One of the best I’ve heard.. .The Hammer talking about Stu Hart 😂
Beefcake tripping when he thought he wrestled in LA for WM2!
😂
The gift that keeps on giving.
The tag team match against the British Bulldogs was one of the highlights of my childhood even though I was screaming at the television at the ref counting a pin for Greg who got knocked out and conveniently fell on top of the also knocked out Bulldog.
YES...same here! I still love that match from SNME after all of these years.
Love Greg the Hammer and the Barber. Great Tag Team and great individually.
Man Beefcake looks like he could still wrestle and the same goes with Greg as well.
Yeah beefcake could wrestle Hogan's pants down around his ankles and blow him again for the 50 thousandth time... That's about the only thing beefcake is wrestling. Greg is great a true legend 👍👍👍..

A very good shoot. Far superior then Hannibal

I love how they said they shared the camera time as a tag team but keep interrupting each other for camera time now
😂
Good guys, laid back and down to earth
Love this duo
Great interview, always was a fan of the Hammer.
wow! the dream team together! awesome!
Love these guys
These two are awesome together.
I remember when Brutus was "Ed Boulder", brother of Terry the Hulk Boulder in Gulf Coast Wrestling.
they were my favorite tag team by far!!!
The realest teenage mutant ninja turtle costumes i've ever seen
Great interview
The pecker checker lol too funny!
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine always been one of my favorites more you beat on them the stronger he got...
DREAM TEAM HALL OF FAME!!!
Awesome! I enjoyed ever second.
i was in 7th grade when me and my friends pitched in to see wrestlemania 3 on pay-per-view.
WrestleMania 2 was in Madison Square Garden which is New York City
It was also in Chicago and LA
Awesome love them!!

I saw the Dream Team in Pittsburgh at the Civic Arena against the Bulldogs, it was an awesome match! Bulldogs didn’t have the belts yet.
Those new wwe elite action figures hammer is talking about are hard to find. He’s not lying. If anyone finds those new elite action figures BUY THEM 💯 they’re gonna be worth some money 💯💯💯💯
Great vid
Loved the Dreamteam. Great heels, got alot of heat yet we loved booing them.
These two Aunts, they've grown on me
RIP Johnny V!

Is the hammer tattoo a tribute to Greg? 😊
Legend has it He got that tatt the night he lost his cherry
Legend has it that's what he called Hogan's dick the hammer he was on it so much he just got a tattoo of it..
Hammer time!
Beefer carried hogans bags for YEARS!!
When I was a kid watching NWA I thought the Hammer was the toughest looking man on earth. He is so well spoken, polite and sensitive. I bet it would be fun to burn one with him

I wonder who hit harder Ric Flair or Greg Valentine
Sucks about Beefcake's accident in 1990, the original Dream Team could've reunited as babyfaces in WWF after Valentine turned a few months later.
As a kid I couldn't stand them. Now I love them.
I hope Beefcake knows they won because Vince said they would win and be champions
FUCKING ROCK STARS

Brutus forgetting Wrestlemania 2, where they lost their tag-team titles???

Why an all white couch?
The video of Beefcake dancing to the song i am the warrior was so gay like why and what were they thinking.
Glory Days.
Beefer has bad tattoos. Hahah, but i still love these dudes..
Beavis “the barber” Butkiss really schooled them green Bulldogs. Managed to have great matches with them even though Greg and Bulldogs couldn’t work
