I bought a Lexus 2005 ES330 (which is basically Camry V6 3.3 liter VVTI engine and little more luxury, sound proof etc) a month ago with 100000 kms for 4 lac Rs. Fully maintained at Lexus dealer. Still looks brand new inside and out. Already drove 3000 kms in one month. I should easily be able to drive this car to over 400000 kms without any major repairs. (Just follow maintenance as per the manual you have in your car. Very important !! Change your brake fluids 45000 kms or 3 years, steering fluids 45000 kms or 3 years, transmission fluid 45000 kms or 6 years, engine oil 7500 miles or 6 months if less than 7500 miles, preferably synthetic, coolant good oil filter, keep tires properly inflated etc etc ) All original parts in my car including the plastic, rubber, alternator, starter, transmission, rotors, suspension/struts etc. I generally don't let it rev over 2500 when I drive. Also I noticed it has roll effect when you turn corners. Other problem being in Pakistan or India is you have too many potholes and roads are not good at many places. Slow down and brake when you see potholes or bumps and go gently over it if you want your suspension to last long. Mid 2000 toyota cars were over engineered cars and superb reliability if maintained well. Very little computers and electronic like newer vehicles which tends to give problems. Buy one if it is well maintained. That is the key !! If price is high, Corolla and Civic are cheaper to maintain and will last more miles than Camry generally. Civic is more zippy to drive than Corolla. I have been driving Lexus since 2011 (used well maintained ones) and have spent Zero $$ in nearly 9 years on any repairs whatsoever. Owned Lexus 2005 LS430 and drove over 200000 kms from 2011 to 2018. Over a year ago got 2004 LS 430 for under 7 lac Rs with 140000 kms and now at 182000 kms with no repairs. Now if you drive Lexus LS 430, then Camry XLE will feel like a Corolla.

Looks like the driver side airbag (steering wheel airbag unit) was replaced maybe due to a head-on collision and then repaired. IDK but it looks like to me.
