Bruce Lee is is the world's most famous martial artist. Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan were a few of the pioneers of the modern martial arts movies. Bruce's top moments include Enter the Dragon, Fist of Fury, and Game of Death. On screen and off screen, he's known for his insane speed and power. So this week I trained Bruce Lee's two finger push up and one inch punch. Then at the end of the week, I tried to break a board with the one inch punch. It was insanely painful. Definitely don't try this at home!

Sir I can do two finger push up but I can't do two finger push in one hand
iam follow Bruce Lee workout
I am just 18
The last one was not a one inch punch, it took more distance.
Haha more like the second and 3rd
Cool I wasn’t the only one who peeped lol
Wait let me take out the ruler
@@hafu it was like 3 inch punch
@@hafu what a rubber one ? Good job anyway 👍
10:11 - Bruce Lee indeed has insane willpower. Most of the people would give up but he refused. It's very touching. Bruce Lee deserves to be a symbol of hope
And an example not to do as many drugs as he did, or to cheat on your wife as he did

I love how Hafu never gives up and keeps trying until he finally succeeds, it's really motivational for me
Gotta go beyond
@@hafu the trick to a one inch punch is wrist torque (down up)which is basic Wing Chun.. its kinda like a spring with potential energy stored up... in combination with a slide step foward otherwise ur just leaning foward with no base support
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sorry i say ကီးကီး
@@hafu can you do 1 finger push up
Hey bro I admire your dedication to learn Bruce Lee training! I rewatched Enter the Dragon the other night and I have decided I’m going to my first Jeet Kune Do class!
Your knuckles have literally been to hell and back 😭It's amazing to see how strong your body has become since you started training with Master Yendi. Proud of you, Hafu!
Yeah no more punching videos for a while lol
Also, I've tied cinderblocks to the side (medial) side of my feet with block flush to ground with block and foot soles. Then toss kicks or high knees. It, for me, helped to increase qi flow thru hips to fists. And of course front and side kicks and round houses
We used to do 2 finger pushups for sprinting. It was fun and also helped with stabilizing your starting position.
This man is gonna become the main character with these training videos
if you're subscribe to this channel, then you got main character energy

Your every content is beyond our imagination.. hats of to you.. and love your every video🖤🖤
Probably cuz I go beyond ;)
We used to transition from finger press-ups to then do thumb press-ups. The hands have to be in front of the body to do them and at my best I could only do 3. The one inch punch is achieved by pointing the hand down to start and snapping the lower knuckles into the punch, as the knees suddenly give and you snap down and twist dramatically as the shoulder also drops into the punch. Done together there is a big wave resulting in a kinetic snap forward with the whole body.
I admire the training and the effort and confidence you had while making this video you put a lot into this but really that's not a 1" inch Punch it's more like 3" inches...but really I think you did a very good job. You can get more strength and power out of that Punch by making your wrist and forearm stronger and always when you punch put your HIP into it. And also when you Punch you hit with the 3 bottom knuckles pinky ring and middle knuckles. I got all that out of one of Bruce Lee's books.
i think the one-inch punch refers to the distance between the wrist and the target, which depends on your hands
@@atuliyengar9638 hed take back his fist every time he would try and break the second and third board thats why he was able to do it
@@atuliyengar9638
The 1 inch Punch is when you Make a fist and put a quarter in between the Target and your fist that will be about 1 inch.
The three knuckles in punching is actually just something you learn in kung-fu
I stayed for curiosity and positive energy, became a fan. Huge ❤️ from 🇧🇩 Good content.
First, I'm far away from a pro, but I did Wing Chun for some years. Let me mention some points.
1. You shoult strengthen your wrist and turn the fist up, so that the punch hit with the three knuckles of middle, ring and little finger. That would damage your hand less. Also the movement should start with the hand hanging down, while movement you make the fist and turn the fist up until the wrist locks. This has two improvements: the arm geths stiffer because more muscles are tensed. And that little additional movement gives an extra big impact.
2. While your punch you went forward, but your left shoulder moves backward. This is energy going into false direction. All your mass should move forward.
3. You legs and body should be tensed like a spring before the punch/movement and explode forward while. You can see the smal forward and up movement also in Bruce Lees videos. This saved energy goes right into the punch.
Would be nice to see another video whrer you try to improve the technique.
bro punch with your pinky and its gonna get smoked
I heard wing chun isnt practical in a real fight 🤔
I think that is not true, because Wing Chun is developed only for that, fiting and selve defance. Not for competition, like Karate.

INF means infinite. he never died, he's just still doing his workout somewhere.
I follow your routines have to go and I do I was doing the Bruce Lee training and it's been helping me with Iron Fist training thank you for posting this video and I've been practicing challenge training for all of you I've been trying my best and I have been doing good thank you for inspiring me with all this stuff I hope I get to see you one day
Bruce Lee's training was a life long obsession and he had what I call "super dense muscle". I have known a few with the same physique as him in my life and it takes a lot longer than 7 days to get muscles like steel cable. If you're still interested, increase all vitamin and iron intake and build up to his training over 6 months. Then you might be able to one-inch punch clean holes in plywood. After a year, maybe you can do three plywood.
One does not need to have insane muscle strength, to have lethal levels of Inch-Impact potentials. At a very thin 6ft tall, 150lbs, I was Knocking out fighters with ease, from my lead hand. Less than 6" of travel, and I never used more than 15 to 20%, of the power that I was capable of delivering.
The power mainly comes from developing far more "Quick Twitch" muscle fibers.. and then training them to react precisely, within millisecond time-units. Lee was said to weigh something like 135 lbs. Yet he was able to deliver a strike from a few inches, that caused one of his demo-guys to have to call in sick to work the next day... due to unbearable pains in his chest.
If one only build up strong muscles.. then you develop a body builder type of body... that is not that flexible, and is very "Slow" in its acceleration. Instead, you want something that is far closer to a Gymnast's, or Climbers, body. Strong, flexible, agile, and quick.
Lee actually mentions that he had gotten to a point in his training, where he realized that his bulky heavy muscle mass was slowing him down. At that point, he changed his routine, and lost a bunch of the bulk, and regained the much quicker acceleration, in his movements. Instead, he focused on useful strength, rather than "Showy" bulk.
@@johndough8115 I disagree. The power didn't come from his muscle. It came from the ground. Trust me. The energy generated from the ground is virtually limitless.
@@Joshuatree7746 From the ground? You're using your hip, not some shonen anime energy transference technique.
@@gmork1090truth is all that is right. I favor a balanced approach. Yes you lose speed with bulk but a bulky guy once carried Bruce Lee off set and he was powerless to break loose. Speed wouldn't save him there. Brute power generally makes up a ton for lack of skill. Then once you have power focus on maxing our reps quickly and explosively. This develops speed. Mechanics such as hip movement increases leverage from the ground which I think that's what the guy was talking about. It's no magic earth bending chi stuff. It's just using the ground as leverage for your strikes and driving the hip to snap that strike into your target. This takes years to develop. Basically you turn yourself from Bruce Lee to Francis Ngannou.
my fav bruce lee😭😭😭
Very impressive from start of the video to the finale, you gained a new subby and i enjoyed the stranger 1" punch video before this. Thanks from Scotland and a huge huge Lee fan since the 70's.
Look forward to the upcoming utkm one you got planned. Gonna be fun to run it through with you and see how you survive what’s in store…
Bruce Lee is a legend, I literally have a statue of him (made by him) in my room I love that guy !!

I think it would be interesting to train like Bruce Lee for one month, and see how much progress you can make
I love the way his facial expression changes instantly the second you actually break through (12:30)
Good videos man hope you get to 20 million
Hey man I’m a practitioner of JKD and what you were doing was the six inch punch the one inch punch is actually from the middle knuckle on your index finger also against common belief the one inch punch and the six inch punch were merely to get a point a cross of the principle of zero pressure! Solid content though
There's not even anyone to teach JKD anymore really maybe a handful of people and there old as old can get. Bruce Lee was the only one that knew JKD because he invented JKD and then he passed away didn't really get to teach everything he knew about it even when most people didn't even understand half of what he taught.
He didn't start with heavier weights. He worked his way up starting with a weight light enough to get his form right. Once the form is right, the weight can be increased.
im now addicted third video now and i am now benge watching your channel lol
I’d love too see you try one of these for like a month . Probably the iron fist 🤛

When I saw your blister from the picture I was so interested in the video.
you do like Speed 🤣 in the end🤣🤣
In the army they taught us to look forward (ie. not at the ground) when doing pushups... if you go to muscle failure, and your muscles actually fail, you can break your nose if you are looking at the ground.
Good point and good tip.
👍🏻
3rd 1inch punch has some catch to it i can see . It was not 1inch punch . Great content thi😂
that was like 5 inch punch
@@celenial6009 yup for sure
When it come to punching with any kind of power its more about foot work and hip rotation. Pushing off the back foot and rotating the hips.
@Hafu Go i think there is a way To get more strenght in this punch... contract your antagonist muscles at the same moment when you prepare your punch... release them when you punch, it Will act as spring and give you more velocity... if you want To try it i'm very interested by your result 😁
2 finger pushup is easy for me now because i practice for 15 days 😃
24 push ups
@Easy Gamer ok
4:38 what
Thanks master i have wached your more videos
Legends say he's still doing dumbbell curls 😂😂😂😂
Fun fact “One inch punch” is not one inch it’s normally around two to two point five inches
It is tho....I checked a video by ginger ninja trickster on one inch punch and he showed a clip of Bruce doing it (cuz I couldn't find an original video because everyone has made this to be the One inch punch lol)....but the way it was done was by keeping the board at an inch distance....which they roughly set by curling the fingers such that the knuckles are around an inch away from the board....some even do it by making a fist...then extending the index finger at the knuckle joint.....(I am struggling to explain here but the video would help ofc)
@@llamanodrama5432 but you need to know the traveling distance of the fist is more one inch
Idk if its just me but i can do 3 finger pushups easily. And im only 14

Not bad. It doesn't really takes a lot of training, I can do it too and I've been working out for like 2 months

Exactly. A lot of what Lee did per day, was never written in that Gym Notebook. People have little clue about how much more Lee was training, outside of the Gym, every single day.

Just a helpful suggestions for you. Place you punching pad on something that will give like a Japanese punching post not a immovable object like that tree. When you hit something that does not give you transfer all that energy back into yourself causing injury. This is one reason you want to lift the heel of the leg of your hitting arm. Bruce lee explains it in his book plus you can read about it in Phillip star book.
Yes, this is a good point. Even the Wing Chun wooden dummy (a good one) has that feedback that absorbs energy a little bit.
The hardwork is just epicc

@@hafu I'm sorry but I just wanna make sure, I could've missed but who knows. do you ever clarify that people should NOT try this? especially the knuckle things since that can seriously injure joints
