- Dr. Marx: After a clavicle fracture that we allow it to heal up on its own. If it's not something that requires a surgery, frequently folks will develop a little it looks like a little ball in the middle of their clavicle. And what that is, is exactly that it's a ball of bone that essentially spot welds the two ends of the clavicle back together to hold them in place so that it can function as one unit the way it was meant to be.

It’s been 20 days my clavicle fracture…. Neglectble pain feels better but what about bone healing and don’t move my hand still from now start exercise what should your thoughts pleas &

Broke my clavicle playing football, how long does it take to heal so i can play again? After 6weeks i don’t feel pain anymore when doing normal stuff but it’s still fragile when its pressured. I didnt do surgery.
Me neither they said I didn’t need surgery but this ball on my shoulder gives me the icks frr and yea it is fragile but my orthopedic appointment is on the 6th
@@MayorSantana the doctor told me that after it is completely healed i will still have a bump on my shoulder because the tissue will grow around the place where you broke it .He said that it shouldn’t be something to worry about but you’ll still see it. You could do surgery but then you’ll have to deal with the scars so either way guess we’ll have to get used to our new friend up there😅

@@MayorSantana i don't really mind, i mean its not that i can do anything about it so i'll just except that this is part of it. luckily its just a bump and not some permanent damage. you'll get used to it
Into the fourth week of clavicle fracture and i do not feel pain but that lump/bump worries me
My clavicle is broke since this Monday I just wanted to ask how much time it need to be healed and I would be like before? I mean moving and rising my hand up easily?
@@Ranchan-bahng It depends upon the severity of the fracture but most of the cases people can lift their hands after 2-3 months like normal
@@Ranchan-bahng Its 30th day of my fracture i can walk like a normal person without sling, can use laptop and i can lift my hand a bit but still i can not move above head but DPT told me that you be able after another month

I’m 2 weeks in I feel the bump minor pain but I hate that bump I’m scaredddd 😭
