Great editing job, good angles. Lots of work there! As an Albertan who has railfanned the line since the line since 1970s between Calgary and Field, I thank you for sharing and particularly for indicating sometimes, where the train was. It brought back a lot of memories of standing in some of those spots over time.
Calgary is 3500 feet above sea level, Banff is 4500 feet a.s.l., 120 km / 80 miles separates them, Divide is the top of the pass at 5500 feet a.s.l. 70 km / 45 miles west of Banff. Lots of great shots along the Bow River (Bow as in bow and arrow).
AlbertaTrackside Just about everyone knows about the Lower tunnel lookout, just off Hwy 1. Not many know about the other lookout. It's on the road up to Takakkaw Falls. (Yoho Valley Rd.) It's only open in the summer but, I road my bike up in May. The viewpoint is about 1.5 KM from the campground.

From what I understand, the Bow river got it's name from the reeds that can be found along the banks. The natives would use them to make bows.
Would I love to sit in a CN locomotive and go for a train ride in Alberta and BC .I need a train engineer as a boy friend.
Great stuff! Where was that shot of the upper spiral tunnel taken from? Was it by the lower portal?
Lower tunnel, sorry.
