The process isnt fun for a regular tattoo...lips are just more out there so it looks more traumatic during healing.

Lip tattoos are not Fillers...... I didn't want larger lips so there is no point of me getting fillers. My goal was to even out the color of my lips and give me a fresh healthy appearance even without makeup! Your natural lip colour/pigment fade with age hence why my natural lips looked washed out and uneven prior to the tattoo. 99% of the time i am makeup free chasing after my baby so anything that makes me feel more put together without any effort is a huge plus in my book!
Yes, I week of downtime for healing isn't fun, but they were not painful just more annoying & its well worth the price for the end result! I'm in love!!
“Why not use lipstick/tint?!” - I very rarely wear makeup, so applying lipstick while the rest of my face is bare.....not the best for me. At the same time lipstick and tints need to be reapplies constantly thought out the day, they fade, smear, smudge, get on your teeth and transfer.....lip tatto stays perfect 24/7 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
They will last a few years , but need retouching if you wish to keep them looking fresh.

Hey hun! just remember that everyone's body is so different hun. we all heal at different speeds. Some people after their lip tattoo got zero swelling, and very minimal peeling. were all just so different. Just hand in there, I know the healing is hard but it will be worth it in the end. Thank you! I'm sure they will look incredible!

almendra zavala The lips are definitely tender for about a week or so. Icing them periodically for the first two days and taking an NSAID helps to bring down the inflammation and pain.

Oh babe thank you so much for this video, my lips look like sausages after i left and i got so upset and worried (my lips are big naturally so you can imagine what they looked like after) they were so bright pink as well so that upset me more 😂 anyway im in bed with a tub of vaseline, ice cubes, ice pack and a mirror (to make me more depressed) but this video has made me feel so much better thank you xxx

So I just did mine and I feel a bit nervous about the size. I have small lips and never wear lipstick so seeing them like this is a bit crazy...
It’s odd because the lips looks SO CRAY while swollen but that’s legit what everyone has been going for “lately” 😬

fabygoo looks better than lipfillers though. The filler usually also sits on other parts around the lips, so i looks really weird. But her swelling was on the lips. Even though it was too much, it still looked better than people who have lipfillers and have the size of her lip.

mine swelled up something wild too! I don't understand how some peoples' don't blow up and look like a clown during the healing process lol. done it twice so far and they always go back to normal and look fantastic, but gosh, the week or so after is ROUGH

So interesting! I had mine done and I love them so much but didn't experience anything like this, just a bit of swelling and was back at work the next day no drama except lip balm. All bodies are different for sure! They look great though

When I had my lips done, yes recovery was the hardest.. the eyebrows healed fast with no issues..

I just ate normally hun. It was more challenging eating, it didn’t hurt but i tried my best to not let my food touch my lips- so there was lots of teeth baring hahaha
Thank you for posting this video! My lips have been comically swollen and very bright for a couple days post-procedure. So many videos show minimal swelling and a natural look during the healing process, and I was starting to think something was wrong with me b/c I look like a clown! I had to call off from work, as my initial results were so crazy looking. I'm a blonde like you too, and this gives me hope that my lips will look more normal soon. Thank you!

I’m a cat16M grader and 793 Dump Truck operator in a gold mine......so I get every 2nd week off work. But at this time of this video I was still on maternity leave. But to each their own, people can go back to work the day of this procedure if they wish to, what ever blows their hair back 💕

Mine swelled up too just like yours. Got them done on a friday and back to work on Monday. Same for the touch up. Only needed gloss for a couple of years, but now all the color is gone and back to lipstick. Would not do it again. Too much money and time and not permanent.

I would watch out. My mom got a rose tattoo and 4 months later her whole body started to swelled up. Come to find out there is something in red tattoo coloring that people can be alergic to. Long story short she had to get the red lasered out.
of all the coloured inks, red is also the most stable in terms of avoiding fading and blow outs. if anyone is looking to get a tattoo without a black outline, red is pretty much the next best choice. that's interesting to know the effect it had with your mom, but i hope she healed up good!!

I had my lips tattooed many years ago and looked like Donald Duck for a day. It was, however worth it. 15 years later I still have color.
Wow 15 years! They usually say it lasts 5 years. Maybe yours was permanent not semi-permanent.

WOW! The healing process was full throttle the next day and beyond. Man, I bite my lips quite often. I would've had a hard time not picking-I could never😅. The brows/lips look great. It's weird that every time I have had my eyebrows tattooed, they scab and go sooo dark for like a week. Yours just look fabulous from day 1!
Cherese10 I’m assuming that you’re blonde from your profile picture so your brows are probably lighter? Mine were super dark for a little as well and I think it’s because lighter colors fade out more vs a dark color that will stay dark
