Looks like Baofeng finally started to innovate instead of relying on their "old good" design ideas. This is great news in my opinion and their new radios (both the FM and DMR models) look great.
I got a UV-32 about a month ago. I figured I'd start with the analog model and then grab the DMR version if I liked it. It's one of my favorite radios right now. It does normal dual band plus 1.25m. It has zones you can name, and stores plenty of memories. The screen is nice everywhere except bright sunlight. I also really like the one button frequency seek, though you still have to select which band to seek. The one complaint I have is it has the standard Baofeng slow channel-change/scan speed. It's not terrible but the Baofeng DMR radios scan 3x - 5x as fast and typically find activity much quicker. It's a copy of a Motorola and doesn't have the top display but it's not a deal breaker. The speaker is on the opposite side from the screen, near the top of the radio. I didn't know if I was going to like it but the radio sounds normal if you put it in a cupholder since the speaker is high. If it had the all band seek and APRS from the UV-5RH Pro it would be a serious contender for the best cheap analog radio.

Hi thanks good info
It can be programmed using chirp using up-17 pro. Program channel 1 to 100 for bank 1, then 201 through 300 for bank 2, 301 through 400 etc….
Nice
