That first game was pretty intense but it's really interesting to see that the living end player doesn't want to play their main strategy because their own creatures are just way worse then the 4c ones 😅.
This is a result of the deck relying on cycling creatures rather than straight discard or entomb effects... I feel like the deck would be way stronger in jund so it could use faithless looting/entomb etc and run some real threats from the grave rather than a bunch of turtles & wraiths
This is some of the best Magic I've seen played, especially on this channel. Mengu played around everything perfectly. As for future content, I would love to see more Pauper! Great content as always!

Great video, Love all the modern videos! These videos are very easy to consume from showing hands with thought interjections. I usually prefer short form MTG(10-20 minutes) but these videos make me want to watch all 40 minutes.

game 2 - I think you should've put teferi into play using planebound, then use teferi to draw a card, bounce reef perhaps, then play yorion. It didn't matter in the end, but it is the strictly better play right?

Here's a couple of "card evaluation" ideas to throw at new players: Fact or Fiction, and it's "fixed" counterpart, Steam Augury Gifts Ungiven Standstill Tangle Wire Rishadan Port Cursed Scroll Upheaval Rhystic Study

Good content, great players, sub-par decks, imo. But, know that i don’t play fair magic since i know what is possible with control/combo. Wish the game was more balanced so that i did not have these opinions. I enjoy the back-and-forth matches more. Game 1 is super sus with the card-calling pre-draw ngl lol
Unfortunately, after looking into the overlay design for a long time, we settled on that specific size for the cast cards to accommodate both card readability and not detracting from the board state. For the 60 card match-ups, we assume that the viewers are a little more familiar with the cards and we often try to read the less common cards aloud (it's not always easy to get the guests to do this though ). Once we start featuring commander gameplay, though, we'll lower the pace of the game to enable blowing the card up big onto the screen :)

When you evoke a creature, it dies immediately after entering the battlefield. So the living end brought the creature back in play. They just shortcutted the interaction

what does the trigger order of endurance matter at 11:20?
These decks- Modern as a whole is so intimidating. You can lose at any time.
