Anyone editing the sound done a good job, I really like that it add nuance to the game state. I also like the commentary, very insightful but sometimes cutting from overhead camera to player commentary disorient/confuse me. Maybe add a face cam for commentary without cutting out from the overhead camera will make me more focused. I hope you excellent people keep making videos.
LOL!! The skeleton clinking on the table before game 2 was hilarious; awesome content and I always have a fun time watching. A couple of content suggestions for the show, 1. play against the "Garruk the Slayer" oversized Planeswalker card, 2. play a Planechase commander game, take those as you wish, keep the content going!
That's actually what I was thinking about so hard there. I decided to keep both spells back hoping to snipe creatures later and get back two phoenixes in the process. Obviously that didn't play out like I wanted it to 😅😅😅
I would not mind seeing UB control in pioneer, or a Death's Shadow deck in modern. Also, you played probably my 2 favorite pioneer decks today. Love it!
Really like the updated graphics for the hands and graveyard. Only thing that I wish was a bit better is the blips for who has a won a game. It can be a little hard to see every now and again.
Fun matches, I’m not very informed what is good and not in each format but as you played a graveyard spell slinger vs Rakdos “control” this time, how about a combo deck vs a Midrange deck to see who gets there first :)
To answer your question, the precons are actually really strong but matchups are matchups so here is a quick guide: Pheonix: Actually struggles vs Burn precon Demolishes Orzhov Auras Is quite favoured vs spirits Is about 50/50 vs Lotus Field combo, depends on your sideboard Rakdos Pyro: Is quite good vs burn, but burn still has good chances Has far too much removal for Orzhov Auras (auras is still a good deck! These are simply not the best matchups for it) Has a reallllyy hard time beating the spirits precon Is about 60/40 against the Lotus Field combo deck
At about 39 minutes, Carl taps the wrong land, cuts away to exposit the play he can't make without red mana, then cuts back to the opposite land tapped
@21:19 When you have RUclips automatically do your captions, and you have a non-American accent, sometimes you end up with phrases such as "Thing in the Ass". If you go check it, it's hit and miss -- maybe RUclips will think you're talking about "Thing in the Eyes" instead. It'll never assume that you're actually talking about ice, though.
We once tried using auto-generated AI captions for our Shorts videos, from the editing software. The captions changed Kaldheim to Cod Dame and we decided a channel about magic cards is probably not the best place for auto-generated captions 😅
Niv to light could be fun to watch. I don't think that deck has ever been played anywhere else. Same with Winota (although she might have seen some standard play)

Really proud of all my plays in game two this week ☺️
I see Jamin. I smile.
@@a1lo1rixrix awww 🥰
( :0 Yo you look super familiar
That was brutal game one. Exiling all the threats was crazy
I love the new use of the actual card header instead of generic text!! Gives it more of a magic feel!!

You two are my absolute favorite content creators at the moment. Would love to see Modern Humans or Elves or Feather in Pioneer.
Finally, the guys I want to watch. You guys need to be on this channel MUCH MORE.
Ragavan having delve would actually be relevant in commander because you can use him as a commander, thus adding generic mana to his mana cost.
This is great! I love the Pioneer content so much. Thanks for more!

Amazing video as always, love all the pioneer, for decks I’d love to see a token deck of some sort
10:00 OOOF you're supposed to fiery impulse your own phoenix for the 3rd spell! It comes right back!

EVERYTHING exiled. Brutal
Love these videos! I would like to see Jund Sacrifice with Bolas's Citadel for the next one :)
Hey very nice, such a long Episode 🙂
Have a nice week everyone!

Noted! Will fix that for the next one
Any new additions to vampires from the new set you could try ?
It is being looked at bhind the scenes, hopefully we can find something
great content :3 deck recomendation: Dimir Rogues in Pioneer :)
I completely support this idea! Looking for some ideas!
I really wanna see that Yorion enigmatic incarnation deck for pioneer.
Fun matches, I’m not very informed what is good and not in each format but as you played a graveyard spell slinger vs Rakdos “control” this time, how about a combo deck vs a Midrange deck to see who gets there first :)
Great vidéo I follow you with the Pioneer decks👍
To Make a budget Pyro deck what could be an option to replace Kroxa?
hey guys at 16:12 could't you discard pheonix and then exile it?
Unfortunately, eye tyrant needs to target a card in the graveyard before thought-seize resolves.
I see Jamin. I smile.
Love the pioneer content!!
I dunnow what I prefer the most: their awesome contents or carl’s shirts collection!
Would love to see some Naya Winota
Green Karnwalkers! Pioneer
Finally, my prayers have been answered ❤️
8:08 can relate so much
This is literally my two favorite decks.
Pioneer, Lotus and Phoenix. Also is there any Jeskai Midrange? I would love that! :PPPP
Would those decks totally shit on all the pioneer precons? I mean if you upgraded them ofcourse.
nope the format is pretty balanced

@@CardmarketMagic oh ok thanks for the insight well...i'll probably upgrade the burn one first then ^^'.
love this guys, they're the best
Love the new graphics btw
Thank you! The update was much needed!
Nice video again! I would like to see something with walls / defender! Something different
Do you have a list? I have never heard of something as crazy as a pioneer walls deck!
@@CardmarketMagic sorry I didn t check that it is 4 Pioneer!
@@Mefusio Oh no we play modern here too ;) you can give me a link to a modern list also if you want!
@@CardmarketMagic Defenders with Axebane Guardian + Overgrown Battlement is also very meta in Pauper :D
Oooo ooooo pioneer azorious spirits
At about 39 minutes, Carl taps the wrong land, cuts away to exposit the play he can't make without red mana, then cuts back to the opposite land tapped
holup dude, why he use lurrus as companion if he has go blank in his main deck?
Go blank is not a permanent 😉 so it can be played with Lurrus as a companion
Why no demilich in Phoenix?
12:10 Why does he pay 3 to put the companion in his hand? Isn’t that the cost to cast it?
They errata'd all the companions because they broke the game :) they now cost 3 to put to hand and then you can cast them for their normal cost
Thanks @@CardmarketMagic I didn't know!
13:27 he sacrifices karma crow
I would like to see jeskai control in Pioneer
Yes pioneer
Most underrated format.
Modern G or RG hardened scales
Manaless Dredge! And I’ll keep commenting it until it’s played!!
If ever we play Legacy or Vintage, we'll remember this ☝
Ah, yes, Izzet Pheonix - my favorite deck including Arclight Pheonix.
Kartoffelsalat on the Brain xD I die
BG rock!
I’m not sure how good it is, but I like shambling ghast in Rakdos deck.
My 2 favorite decks lol
Love the Content and also love seeing Phoenix lose :)
8:15 Wasn't your plan to crack Fabled Passage, Fatal push the Phoenix and Go back to nuke his graveyard with 2 Phoenixes and his hand??
For fairer game probably, so he doesn't stomp the opponent which would make the video uninteresting
At the start we saw Karl after playing against a Nexus deck
Death's Shadow in modernnnnn yesssss
This go blank was insane haha. Btw nice content also hope for more Modern :)
You might want to check back here around 6pm (so in like two hours) 😉
Next!! Pioneer Walls!
Do you have a list? I'm actually interested!

Temur dragons seems pretty good
Play any Combo deck pls
I know this video is over a year old but could you please fix the Pheonix typo in the title?
Would love to see niv to light :)
Modern temur rec vs glimpse of tomorrow
Boros Feather in Pioneer
Thank yall so much for playing pioneer. I love the format but hardly anyone plays it
We Jamin,
We Jamin,
And I hope you like Jamin too,
U yeah
Modern Ad Nausium
mono blue spirits vs lotus pioneer pioneer
While I do miss Riley, I also like Carl.
I know I'm like a year late, but you should use the laugh track more often. Please and thank you :)
Jeskai Fires
Why didn't Carl push the Pheonix and cast Go Blank exiling 2 Pheonixes from his graveyard leaving him with only one card in hand around 8 minutes?
For fairer game probably, so he doesn't stomp the opponent which would make the video uninteresting
mono blue spirith against azorius spirith
Niv to light could be fun to watch. I don't think that deck has ever been played anywhere else. Same with Winota (although she might have seen some standard play)
Orzhove auras
Izzet just me or does phoenix not fare terribly well in cardmarket videos? It feels like I've seen that deck get beaten more often than not...
Please play Nya winota :D
ooo good call, that deck is explosive.
Would love to see some gifts storm in modern, it's crazy cheap currently
play elf tribal decks
Watch this space :)
Big sad being american so I cant use karmacrow or cardmarket ;-;
Maybe one day we'll grow big enough to go save TCG player from Ebay 💪
@@CardmarketMagic i hope so I love you guys
You could put out really good content but does every single video really need blue?
