yesss!! finally a sherman for my favorite nation! even better is that it fits perfectly in the very powerful 3.7 lineup sweden has in rank iii, making it extremely good for events and stuff
Possibly, especially since Gaijin has a tendency to label some lesser known roles as something else, but I suspect they may have just forgotten to remove them.
I have never heard of Sherman III/IV. And trying to search for any info on it. Seems to be impossible. So have Gaijin done a wargaming and added a "made up" tank? I would have preferred a Danish M4A3E4. It has a 76mm gun. So it would be much higher BR then this. But at least that one is easy to proof that it's real.
Yea I suspect it might possibly be made up, since we know what Sherman's Sweden recieved and I'm pretty sure this isn't one of them, its annoying since having one of them would have made much more sense! More Danish vehicles would always be welcome!
As you can see it lacks Wet rack and HVSS suspension. Then again you can pick so few shells that the former won't matter and I believe the HVSS suspension doesn't make a difference in the game either. There are already other Sherman variants in other trees which US tree lacks. Nevertheless this one is indeed a strange choice. The odd designation III/IV could indicate combination of the M4A2(75) "Sherman III" and M4A3(105) "Sherman IV" which Sweden had. It is nice to see some premium vehicles for mid to low tier Sweden, but there were far more interesting and better fitting choices. For example the Finnish modified StuG, a modified T-50 or a KV-1(1942). Gaijin even forgot to add BT-5 and BT-7 to Finland (Sweden). Those were their second most numerous tanks after T-26.

It does seem like it will be an effective tank, I'm sure it will do very well in the Swedish tech tree!
@@Toreno17 truly, the Sherman is such a good vehicle that you can’t go wrong with it lol
That extra crew member may be the radio man. Unless that's situated in the turret.

Sweden has a VERY good specific 3.7 lineup. Obviously that Sherman in the video but a t34 AND a panzer 4
Agrees, with the addition of the Finnish sub tree and numerous foreign tanks Sweden has some really good line ups with some very good variety.
Dude, this looks like a M4A3 (75) W HVSS
Man Sweden getting that before the US i would be pissed
Yes it seems odd Sweden would get it before the US, especially since they may not have even used it!
