I remember playing this on my dad's old pc roughly in 2010 ,this brings back so much memories from my childhood. The most clearest thing i remember is the "i am rock" song, so much memories
Also the story of the game is about become more notorious and dominate races and avoid the cops and become the most wanted street racer and beat the blacklist members and become number 1 and get your car back that was stolen from you by razor the best street racer around the world
It is my favourite need for speed game but that’s probably because I never played anything earlier than this and after this game the series got weird and fake almost. Well after underground. I still liked hot pursuit but that was the last one I enjoyed playing and watching people play. But even it was a completely different game. I don’t know if we’ll ever get games like this one again, the acting is hella cheesy but the game is so much arcadey fun :D

the fact this is a PS2 gen game and still looks great is amazing. i know it was out on the next gens too,but damn, still the best NFS ever made imo. although i did always think it was weird that the top guy isnt number 1....he's number 16, like, whos idea was that in the production office?
I swear, this game has the most incosistent difficulty ever halfway through. Just playing this right now on the PS2, currently in Ming I hate requiring doing these milestones. And I suck at pursuits l already got busted like 6 times lol Still a fun game. The unique art, the epic soundtrack is all what makes me keep going on this game. And I'm not even a fan of racing games and cars. I just really need to beat this game. I've been seeing this game everywhere back in the day, and this game sort of haunting my mind for me never beating it.
The last part of your comment was all to real to me… there are games I had to beat as an adult. Because I needed to and well because I wanted to hahaha. But I completely understand. Good luck on your journey to beat this game it is fun yes, but at times it is hair pulling unfair. The drag races are what got me and those races with laps that take forever 💀
I have this massive wheel with over 100 games on it, I spin it see what it lands on and play that game… I’m kidding haha. I actually just have a list of games I add to, it’s kind of small but they are games I want to play or should play and I choose from them :) And idk I’ve always been interested in them but since I’ve never played them and am lacking in that genre the top down turn based rpg, it would take me a long time to learn. Not saying I’ll never play them but I would probably play a game like divinity original sin or baldurs gate 3 to ease me into the genre haha. Hopefully that makes sense and thanks for the suggestion ;)
