Thaaks. Very useful. Instead of buying a monitor I''ll just get a more useful second hand Yoga thinkpad.
No problem, one thing tough, make sure to charge your device, because it can drain the battery rapidly
Should do the job if like me you only need it to work. If you are thinking about gaming or movies there can be some lag and the refresh rate is limited
@@mschosting yep, It's just for coding and watch my .logs.
I believe you don't need any adapter to achieve that. (Maybe on older Linux versions) I use a very old Alcatel 7" tablet like that only for work, basically got a spreadsheet there just to copy paste values into my main screen does the job correctly. For the battery you can plug an USB charger from the tablet to the PC.
are you still using the deskreen app? what are the other steps?
Indeed, there is a way to install a virtual adapter
hi guys any idea how to make it work on Fedora ??
Man, you need to fix the quality issue since it's illegible
This also does not function as a "second display" as you put up. This more closely resembles TeamViewer in that it simply shows your current monitor on a different device (or on a website).
