Omg hair be so thick I just had a Full on Ugly teary eyed meltdown 2 days ago i cut all my dead hair off it's hella short now couldn't stand it and said fck it doing locs my mom did them now I'm sooo happy with my locs journey can't wait for my hair to look like yours so FULL and THICK 💃🏾😃😃
Girl yes I booked an appointment it was like 200plus for a consult and to start my locs couldn’t pay on the app she only used Zelle and wanted me to pay extra on top of the 2plus for a deposit 😑
Hey hey! Came across your channel binged a few lol your locs are 🥰… I started a tad bit shorter than you lol i have videos posted of how short. I’m almost one month. Did you spritz your hair a lot in the beginning? I’m doing it pretty much everyday and oiling my hair twice a day lol oiling 2 times even as a loose natural was just what i did when trying to grow it so it’s a habit lol 2nd question how did you handle hair coming out of your locs aka starter twists when they were short? Did you re establish to put it back in or just Retwist everything back together and hope for the best lol That’s something I’m struggling with in a decision cause i will be doing my 1 month Retwist soon and I’m unsure. Any advice would be sooooo appreciated 😊
Hey boo! Yes I sprayed my hair daily with water or would let it get a little wet from the water in the shower in the morning everyday. I oiled it almost every day or every other day. I don't recommend everyone to do this as we all have different hair types but my scalp gets super dry especially because I had a lot of perm burns from relaxing my hair prior. I began to see more hair growth when watering and oiling it every day or every other day. the only thing about this is that if you dont wash ur hair every week or every two weeks, ur scalp pores can get clogged and the oil and water mixture can cause like a gunk to began to form around ur hair follicle which can hinder hair growth completely. the hair that unravel from the locs were mostly in the center of my head as that texture is a 4b ish texture. It didn't hold the locs I had originally created and with it being short and a softer texture from the rest of my hair, the only method that kept those locs from unraveling was doing a 2 strand twist method. After a while of having the 2 strand twist in, I could finally see that when I did retwist my hair, the locs weren't unraveling anymore. For the other parts of my hair that I started with coils, they were fine for the most part and loc'd pretty quickly.
@@jynshalene gratitude for your quick response I really appreciate it. Yea i started with two strand twist i had maybe 4 ish where hair would come out of the twist but nothing to crazy i decided to regular crochet the hair back into the twist unless it was just to much then i just re established that twist. But yes i oil everyday and wash every two weeks. The hair that unraveled crazy my texture is loser i think from flat ironing it al though i cut my hair bald lol it just still grew back with a different texture in those spots! But i really appreciate it. I’ll continue to spray and oil cause i couldn’t even twist the back and now a month later it’s way longer to where on my Retwist day I’ll establish those . I am enjoying this and can’t wait to see my hair growth. Your hair did amazing 🥰
