So fucking good to see you back in the swing of things my dude, remember watching you and matt on TFN when I was fucken 16/17, mad to think that's nearly a decade ago
@@GOTIME-CO I wanted a KE70 so bad after you got that white one, but they were probably all scrapped over here in 09 bc fuck me are they rare, even moreso now
Your channel came into my feed because the algorithm knows I love Soarers but the music really elevates the content and keeps me coming back. Really cool to learn it’s your original work!
Love the recap from where you have been, so cool that you’re in the music side of things. I’ve loved the recent uploads as I’ve been dying for new ones, I think I’ve watched all your vids like 3 times now, love your work! ❤
Love the vibe of your videos🤌. Gets me excited to get my ke70 build done. Unfortunately been held up with body dramas after just going back to the panel shop for the 2nd time since its been painted. But parts are accumulating and the day will come
you are the reason australia came into my bucket list... when my economics been ok and all antidotes of venoms been found will be there ,will listen your band live, will remember the moment for life.. keep up mate
Ive had a rusty old dx in the garage for years now waiting for me to find some motivation, just cut the roof off the other day and started welding in new stuff 🎉
Hope you can sort out the issues that keeps it from the road, that's a big part of where the 4A-GE shines. Rust has been the bane of my existence too, everybody else apparently has unlimited money to buy perfect shells. I buy the shit they don't want, but that also meant needing the metal working tools. Then once you get stuck into that, might as well do a good job of it and raise the value. So that's a lot of watching Fitzee's Fabrications, Make It Kustom, and figuring sh*t out on my own. I went stock ECU, was just 8 wires had to get tapped into and that's it. Reason being I was able to build and/or get the sheet metal tools and (used) 4-post lift I needed for rust repair, and came out with money to spare vs what aftermarket ECU+tuning costs, aftermarket ECU power gains just weren't enough to offset not having to lay in the dirt breaking my back on everything else.
Did the same with my c33 laurel, was searching aaaages for a sunroof turbo one and rust was the big downfall. Now it's off the road while I repair it and I keep seeing videos of everyone else enjoying theirs 😢
I know your pain all so well, you just wanna do a bit of fun tinkering and drive the damn thing. "wow this Ae86 is good for rust", 10 years later you check out some bubbly spots on framerails and turns out they're all gone, a bunch of rust having been hidden by previous owners in order to pass tech. I mean, look at everyone else, they work in shift construction (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, come back they want cool sh*t that works, not rust, so they pay for it), electricity, plumbing or offshore, and has so much money to burn, that's all. Notice how all the fab & body guys seem to be the rare group of people with dirty hands from working on cars to actually afford the rare/cool cars. Because they earn sh*ttons, that's sh*ttons you SAVE by doing it yourself! A pretty rusty car costs 10 grand to fix even at a shop that undercharges. With used tools you're 4000 bucks all in for 97% of all the equipment for all body repair. But you gotta wanna put in the effort & time. With a hammer, table and china welder you can get it to pass tech. And with a few of the right tools and patience, you can gain a skillset you could earn good money on if you so wish.
Yeah, honestly at the time I was so intimidated by wiring but doing the harness for the link made it all make so much more sense to me, i learned so much from doing that so I’m happy to have done it, if I were to do it over though I’d go standard ecu, it’s definitely the way to go
Man this is so awesome to see ive been following since the early fellas network thanks to more skids and when the music started coming out i was amazed cuz my dad was a musician and taught for a long time but i got into cars lol im stoked that you have been able to take time to make these videos and do car stuff and having a place to do it is everything you killed that shot like how Sam does it im stoooooked also the soarer is so sick too you just have awesome taste
LOL, I'm wearing one of my Kitschen Boy tees right now! Looking forward to seeing more vids - I'll have to try to make some time to come see you next time you're doing a gig around Melbourne too.
@ I just went to the kitschen boy site and got excited that it’s showing the black Corolla and garishness tees on the home page! Gutted they’re not actually in stock.
Hey bro awesome seeing the ke again!!! Quick question what rails are you running for the front seats and where can I get the nrg quick release please. Ae71.
From South Africa 🇿🇦, love both your cars mate. What is the exhaust setup on the ke70? I have a KE70 myself, running a 2T motor with a 3T crank(lightened flywheel), dual weber dcoe setup and a 300 degree cam. Making about 100kw on the wheels too. These cars are so amazing and il never sell mine too
i watched you for quite a long time now. funny thing is that I listen to indie music and found 'charlie don't party' and didnt know it was your band until you used it in 1 of your vids lol. anyways any shows next year april in melb?
did this channel use to have another name before? or did it split of from another one? i remember the announcing when you released the song life in lofi as it was used for the intro on the channel. but i cant wrap my head around what the channels name was!
Matt’s a big boy industrial designer and Seb and I still live together, he’s a software engineer these days so I’ve just got a lot more of my chips in automotive stuff and am carrying the torch for us all hahah
Love the Corolla, love the music. Glad you've got access to a shop. Cheers to Tom 👍🏽 & thanks for sharing an update.
Thank you!
You guys keep giving those Saturday afternoon 80s vibes. Amazing content and music as always Dylan!

Hahaha don’t worry, no one’s died from a spider bite since the 80’s that’s all propaganda to gatekeep Australia from American tourists
