I’m not really into Thinlines but that Tele ticks all the right boxes! The lack of face markers is damn cool for a start. Those guitars are very mature looking!
I still have a loaded pickguard with Abby initialed 69 Custom Shops just waiting for the right Body & neck, probably after a Shredder build of a Charvel DK24 HSS and that Modulus Carbon Graphite Neck I had been saving, thinking maybe a Dragon Theme for this one.

I have the Greeny and just ordered the Tele of these. The Greeny is pretty rough out of the box. It took me about an hour of polishing and sanding to get the finish to how it should have been out of the factory. Now, its an absolute beast of a guitar and looks amazing. Those pickups are awesome, and probably my favorites Gibson have made. Just keep that in mind if you go for the Greeny.
Not at $3000 + dollars though! 😮 You know Stadivarius when put up against other modern instruments in a blind test rarely are picked as the best . Its all collectors and marketing just like these.
Ok, noce wood nice appointments and my favorite vintage compound. But its MORE THAN A FUCKIN Les Paul! Its Nitro yes, but whats the base undercoat, I bet its poly, yup nitro over poly I bet.. No fret markers drives me nuts, I have a couple Gretsch that are like that and I cant glance with my peripheral vision while singing. I understand the vintage tuners to prevent neck dive, they did dye the ebony, but you know roasted maple is how they use up lesser grade maple right? Yup kiln dry soft maple it becomes, hard maple. They also stain it sometimes. Twisted tele pickups come on Fender, you could have custom wound and voiced something special for this. Fuck it nobody is going to gig out with this guitar so collectors rejoice, you can get them on Reverb for 2k and they will level out just above a standard thinline eventually because they arent moving, they are pretty though. But my 2 cents. Just get a Memphis 335 with some 57 classics. Youll be happy. Also found on Reverb cheaper.
Im done with Febder, they failed a 35yr mission of mine, and it feels like the failed it to slight specifically me. When you feel that way about a company youve loved for decades, its a real bad taste in the mouth. See, they can go nuts for rhis crapocaster, but they cant nail historic models anymore. Im done, I dont buy excuses when i understand manufacturing, especially CnC work, amd that is why i dont hear it when they say "cist this, cost that" wjen its really they are lazy and disrespectful of players that want anything but a Strat or Tele. I already have 7 between the two models, i dont need another that guitar, I need the ither Fender models to be historically correct pr reissue the correct specs asked for.
wrong... there are semi hollow strats used all over ebay and reverb.... fender has done these multiple times... eric johnson even had a semi hollow strat fender did in 2018... you can find those for like $1700 and up... used all day.... You don't have to buy this or go to the custom shop... you are just flat wrong with that comment...
