The harmonizing she does with the band that she pulls the mic away for is absolutely insane. If you see her live its mass audible. She actually had a whistle register at one point, but I think she enjoyed using that power. You can hear the echo in the building on this. When she had the audacity to come out there on that note. Omg. One time when I saw her her and the saxophone player were going back and forth-- Patti stood up there and OUTSANG the saxophone. She's magic. 💜💜

She is another one that has such a powerful voice that you know just by hearing her. Can't believe she actually went on masked singer and unleashed those vocals, knew who it was right away and them judges played as if they were confused on who it could be lol . I got to meet the drummer, Bud Ellison (musical director), and one of the background singers of which they have all passed away unfortunately!!! What you see is REAL!!! Love her!!!
Bud passed away and three of the background singers. John Stanley is alive and still singing with Patti in fact he's her musical director
