Maybe a re-airing rather than making another one, cartoons nowadays are either so much of a brainrot or too graphic that they aren't meant for kids in the first place and there's barely much of an in-between
She's an immortal deity who upheld her end of their bargain. She could've killed him where he stood after he started talkin shit. She was definitely feelin him!
And the "Don't play coy with me." where she gives a frustrated kind of chortle in the middle as if she's ready to snap at any moment, but is _just barely_ holding it in.
One thing I loved about this movie was that the big powerful lady was “defeated” but not destroyed. Wish we had more movies as creative as this one. Especially going into various mythologies
That happened to me too. My whole life I've been attracted to women with jet black hair and I never really knew why. Then one day I was watching TV and the Addams Family came on, and as soon as the theme started playing I remembered how it was the only show I would come in from outside to watch daily. Morticia Addams was my childhood crush, and many of the women I had dated and the one I married bear some resemblance to her. The other thing I discovered was that the sound of high heels on tiles will make me turn my head every time to see where the sound is coming from, cuz my first grade teacher, who I'll just call Miss R, cuz she was a 'miss,' and not married. And she was hot AF. She was the first woman who caught me staring at her and called me out on it. I was like 6. LOL But she was late to class every time, and I would listen for the sound of her heels coming down the hallway, and that's where I learned to pick that sound out over any sort of noise, like a bunch of first graders left unattended. It's really interesting to learn where our, uh, 'interests' originated. I learned much later that teachers who are fresh out of college at like, their mid 20's or whatever almost always start teaching elementary school kids. Pretty young teachers probably shouldn't be exposed to teenage boys. That's just a bad idea all around. But how many young boys have been influenced by exposure to young, pretty adult females without even realizing it? 😅
Love this, when people were bound just by their word....their word and they were true to it. It never was about needing proof or needing to see it to believe it. But back then there was such honor, when i said i gave you my word....i mean my word. I dont know about fello humans nowadays but i do, thats why i never swear. If i promise or swear, i stick to it through thick or thin. I stay bound to my word, like a true human....full of honor and loyalty... courage. Wish all my other fellow human brothers and sisters were the same but we are a dying breed
The entire history of china is full of betrayal, also ever read the prince by machiavelli not to mention war of the roses and the roman empire collapse. "back then" is BS, there has never been a time where everyone was honorable.
Yeap, this music will never mean anything to me again at this point. It puts every video it's used in, into a big pile of slop for me. "I'll just put the thing in all of the virals, in MY lazy short and everyone will love that." And to be fair, the algorithm rewards and encourages that exact thoughtlessness, which festers in this nauseating repetition of the same beats until it's like eating so many pancakes in one sitting that you can never smell them again without getting sick. It reminds me of another one I saw recently, a woman was reacting to a lewd song from the 30s or something. It had a point, though. She was contrasting people's expectations of the time. It was funny because she dressed like 'good, proper company' for the time and slowly became a regular modern person being grossed out as the song ran increasingly more explicit. Her shtick is doing this with old music covering all manner of subjects that commonly are seen as taboo in their times. It went big. So now you get women dancing in vaguely period-suggestive wear to THAT song, specifically the most attention grabbing lines. There is no dynamic, no point other than dancing to a funny-sounding old song. And it's basically only gonna have value to you if you didn't see the more substantive original first. If you have, the copycats are just shlock to you and it's a hard feeling to shake. And across that, the plot was lost and nobody knows why they are doing any of this, or cares. There are people on the internet who understand memetics, have seen 1000 memes curdle - and then there are the rest, who basically dissolve away all of the things that make the memes worthwhile. It's a cycle where the longer it runs, and the more people hop onto the meme, the fewer total people engaging with it actually understand it. And then one day, you wake up and seemingly everyone has turned against it. It devolves into this thing where everyone is blindly copying each other - trying to stand out and get attention, but ultimately blending in by following the same first impulses everyone else already has, because these memes already live in our heads. It starts to hit the mind like an ice cream headache. Or maybe a screechingly loud echo in a very small cavern.
