    Devoted member of the toilet paper gang here 🙌😁 but, remember to never use the toilet paper from your bathroom. A lot of bacteria float around when you flush the toilet and a lot of it ends on the roll next to the toilet which then ends on your face :/ keep a roll inside your vanity or in your beaytyroom, bedroom, whatever 😊

    • @martying94
      @martying94 7 лет назад +8

      as +Jessie LC said, oil is the best alternative to the average make up remover! These days I no longer bring make up remover with me when I'm sleeping out. I always use whichever oil my friends have in the kitchen (like sunflower or olive.. although the coconut one is the best one to use on the skin, imo) or milk! Oil works wonders and milk is very delicate :)

    • @marianarodrigues7405

    • @martying94
      @martying94 7 лет назад +12

      Ikr? If I could ever afford buying a shiseido cream, there's no way I'd use it as make up remover. Like, I'd rather use cheap soap for once, instead of wasting such an expensive cream!

      Amanda Lorence that's why I said I use it if I forget my makeup remover or if I'm in a pinch ... it's not an everyday thing. 😉

    I have combo skin oily most all over but crazy dry right in the middle of my chin and the side nooks of my nose. I don't want to use a super hydrating moisturizer all over because my skin doesn't need it all over. Instead I use a dab of my eye cream around my nose to hydrate the pin point I need. Works great!! Makeup doesn't crease up in the lines anymore

    I use conditioner as shaving cream. 😊 I've done this since high school.
    and I agree using the coconut oil as a makeup remover. it works amazing. especially in the winter time bc it moisturizes my skin cuz I tend to get dry this time of yr.

    • @sarahinfinger5852
      @sarahinfinger5852 6 лет назад +5

      SunnyBigMc actually coconut oil isn’t good for your face! I never knew this until I started cosmetology but it can cause clogged pores, it’s actually what was making me breakout out. The atoms are too big to really sink in to the hair and skin so it sits on top and doesn’t help

    • @lilithhedwig5408
      @lilithhedwig5408 5 лет назад

      @@sarahinfinger5852 but what about if you wash it off afterwards with a foam cleanser? Wouldn't it prevent it from sitting on your skin and possibly cause any damage? I really need to know!

    • @sarahinfinger5852
      @sarahinfinger5852 5 лет назад

    Uncoated aspirin mixed with water and/or honey makes a good mask for zits. Even just using the aspirin alone is good. Sometimes I'll wrap some aspirin in a thin cotton pad, get that wet until the aspirin starts dissolving and then I stamp that on parts of my face that are red/inflamed. Also calamine lotion is great on nodular acne (the really big, deep zits that take weeks to go away)

    Was literally watching this video with cold teabags under my eyes! Great minds! I love using coconut oil for a ton of things, including shaving (as opposed to baby oil, which irritates my skin for some reason.) I also take a mixture of coconut oil, jojoba oil, tea tree, lavender and peppermint essential oils on my hair and scalp. It's a great way to give some love to your scalp before shower time so you don't strip the oils which are especially important in the winter.

    I've done the tape thing forever, but last year I put tape on a bite on my leg and it created a huge hickey-like spot. It took MONTHS to go away. TT

    I recently started a korean skincare, but now a lot of people I know say that so many face masks a week (I use like 5 a week) and applying so much stuff on my skin isn't good for it and that I'm taking too much care of it, which will lead to even worse skin.. And now I'm really confused and concerned if this is true..

    • @denisezurbano1487
      @denisezurbano1487 7 лет назад +12

      Sarah it depends. If you know your skin type doing skincare becomes a lot easier. If you're oily type, should just use skin care masks twice a week but if your skin is dry, using them that much is normal. And for those people who said that to you, do they even know and do skincare, and have perfect flawless and poreless skin? 😂

      Sarah If you are using products that are not too harsh and work for your skin type it should be totally fine ^^ If you use a lot products with added coloring and scents, it might make your skin more sensitive over time and increase the risk of developing cosmetics allergies but honestly that can happend even if you use only one product if you are unlucky

      Sarah it's always a good idea to introduce items to your skin one at a time so you know if it works well with your skin or whatever reactions might occur. and of course sometimes a simpler skincare works best with special treatments now and then

      5 masks a week is too much ...I think once or twice a week would be good. Excess of everything is bad they say.
