@@ArmandoKozomara not heavy at all, very lightweight considering the year they were released. And the back tab made them so easy to slip on and off. I remember getting them for like $20 brand new off eBay when I was like 11-12; I’m 29 now and still wear the same size shoe. I wear a size 15 so I think that’s how I got them so cheap lol
Rewind to 9:32 and you will see why Nets never took off. First of all, the frontcourt sucked big time! The Bench was beyond horrible. They only scored 20 points (The Bench) the entire game up until that point. The lakers bench had 42 points to help the Lakers starters. Then people say why Nets never won it all with VC and Kidd with a sub border line all star in Jefferson? There is your answer. VC in his prime years had to carry and win by himself. Smh 🤦🏻♂️

The Nets in the post season that year lost to the Heat where Jefferson averaged 20.6 points on 57% shooting. The Heat's next leading scorer after Wade was Shaq with 18.6 pts on 57% shooting. The Nets 3rd scorer also averaged more points than the Heat's 3rd scorer and you're gonna try and act like Vince had no help and was carrying teams by himself with the Nets.
In 07, he played terrible(19.7 pts on 35% shooting) against the Cavs and 05 shot terrible(26.8 pts on 36% shooting) against the Heat despite averaging the same pts as Wade(26.3) who was way more efficient(50% shooting). 06 was really the only time Vince played great during his time with the Nets but the lost definitely wasn't because he had no help

Ask any real fan if they were the best player on the team and ask them to pick a team to play for. VC destroyed Wade. 51 against Wade and the Heat. If you look at the playoffs in 05, Riley sent double and triple teams every time VC touched the rock. Reason? This VC lead Nets team was in the Finals just a year or so earlier. Kobe was on a rebuilding Lakers team with local YWCA all stars in the starting lineup. VC could put up numbers, but even on talented rosters like this Nets team VC couldn‘t lead the team to a championship level. J.Kidd won in Dallas in couple years after this game, and Kenyon Martin was in the West Conf Finals with Denver a year or so after that.
This team was not a talented Nets team. it was 3 players deep. The team that went to the finals had Kieth Van Horn, Kenyon Martin, kerry Kittles, and Aaron Williams. Vince carter basically had to replace four players to keep this team a second round team.

@@westside8514 Gasols number is sitting in the Rafters. I would say Gasol was a superstar who commanded double teams and was a 18-10 PF/C who was very good at passing 3APG and blocking shots. I’ll also take a player like Odom who was very talented and did everything for the Lakers. They also had a great bench.
