As long as the park has interesting things to see its fine. Those old rides were really cool so I didnt even think of this video as different until you pointed out the lack of dark rides and stringent rules.

To answer your informal poll there at the end: I like videos like this. You don't have to ride the coasters, as long as you keep getting great shots of them in action :)

Dorney is a shell of its former self. It’s sad to see all of the old/unique rides gone that were there when I was a kid in the 80’s. It used to be more like Knoebels. I really miss the Iceberg and Journey To The Center Of The Earth.

Man you're hitting all my favorites as of recently! I love Dorney, it's by far my favorite amusement park. Hydra was my first inverted roller coaster, so it holds a special place in my heart. Fun fact about Hydra- it stands in the place where a coaster called Hercules once was. Story goes Hercules defeated the Hydra and buried it's head in that spot, and years later it grew back as the coater, hence "the revenge". I love this park so much.

Either way I enjoy them. If you can film being on the rides then we get to hear you scream. If you video others on the rides we still get to see locations that many of us can't get to so I enjoy whatever we get. My wife has been recovering from some very serious non-covid related issues since 2019 and even with things re opening and me being vaccinated I'm not able to be out at attractions or take the grand kids to an amusement park. Plus, my kids and I have always been fans of dark rides and "haunted houses". So keep on videoing for those of us that are living vicariously through the series! lol

I remember being a very little guy climbing out of my Dad's Buick onto a grass lot and then walking under the wooden roller coaster. That must have been 59 or 60. Then in the seventies I enjoyed Wacky Shack, the pirate dark ride, Journey to the Center of the Earth, the Carousel (my mother fainted on this) which was then in it's Carousel House with a music machine in the center, a small stone lined pond where we watched fish, a riverboat ride, and the zoo. Dorney of today just doesn't measure up. I much prefer Knoebels.

I worked at Dorney back in the early 90’s just before Cedar Fair purchased it for a few years. This brings back so many memories. So much of the park is completely different yet so much is exactly the same. The wooden coaster you referred to as coaster we called the yellow coaster, and the name was then changed to Thunderhawk. Thank you for taking me back to a place that defined my entire childhood. You did it justice!! You don’t need to take us on the coasters....tours like this are perfect! (That there is an actual name for parks at the end of trolley lines was new to me. Thanks! And your telling us about Bill Tracy allowed me to appreciate spotting, in one of your videos of a dark ride, the "R.I.P. Bill Tracy" on one of the tombstones.) @thecarpetbagger well it is nice to have a stroll through an amusement park to see the overall vibe as well as getting on some of the rides.

Just seeing what these parks have to offer is great!
    Thanks for the journeys.

The real name of the goose is Canada geese, not Canadian geese- very common regional mistake many people learned growing up!

Jacob- the videos where you can ride everything are awesome. But if the park has recording restrictions, I still love watching you visit parks! Thanks!!

The first group of plushies you were curious about are actually called "Squishmallows"! The concept is essentially "take an animal and make it a giant inedible marshmallow". The second group of plushies are from a game called "Bendy and the Ink Machine"(I actually cosplay one of the bad guys in it named Sammy) and I highly recommend playing it if you like horror games! There aren't a whole lot of jumpscares and it focuses more on the atmosphere and story.
As for what kind of videos I like, I prefer the ones that mix walking and riding but focus more on riding! I won't know when I can go to these places, so I've lowkey been experiencing them through your content!

Of course, seeing you on rides & hearing you scream are the best...but if you can't, you can't & watching this was fun too. I especially loved seeing the classic rides.

I like the POV when you are on a roller coaster. No matter what though I will always watch your videos.

I like these types along with the other types of videos. They are fun for people who can't go to these roadside attractions.

Good memories of going in the 1970s to Bertrand's Island in New Jersey, which was a trolley park. Built around 1910, demolished in the 1980s.

To answer your question, I enjoyed this video even without my personal favorite, the dark rides and although I love screaming Jacob on roller coasters, walking around and just looking at stuff was still BIG FUN! 😁

I actually really like videos like this where you don't go on all the rides. I thought it was really interesting to learn about a park that I've never heard about and the gift shop was really cool to see as well! This park reminds me of Knott's Berry Farm and Great America in California

I would like more of this. It doesn't really matter. I don't have to feel like I'm on rides to enjoy seeing the parks. I just enjoy seeing it all. You make me feel like I'm there! It's great!
Plus, I don't ride roller coasters anyway.
