I had a great uncle who was a horse trainer. I remember him saying he wished that he had never gotten into it. He wouldn't go into detail, but it seems like a deeply seedy business.

I've always wondered if there was a connection between Jayne and the 1966 disappearance of Ann Miller, Renee Bruhl and Patricia Blough. If I remember correctly, the girls boarded their horses at Jayne's stable.

Thank you for this observation. I wasn't familiar with the cases, but from the story I just heard in this video I would say they've GOT to be related!

I remember reading about their disappearances. If I recall correctly, one of the same men was suspected in both cases.

Ok last comment. When you see something hinky NEVER make a threat. Just be quiet and go to the authorities later.

All she had to do was hold her temper, say nothing, then report them and she would have lived out her life. Don't tip off the dangerous target.

Women if you’re leaving a relationship, allow as much time as you feel safe. Pretend. Smile. Pack, hide items, let others you trust know you are leaving. (I had no one to alert so I called a Woman’s Shelter & let them know my info. I kept in touch until I was safely out. Knowing someone would look for me gave me confidence & peace)Ladies, always have a separate bank account. Be prepared with all PW’s to Social Accounts because you’re going to change those ASAP. If you know anyone who’s divorced, emotions can change people. *I’m female. I know men need plans also, but my familiarity is females. Take Care

Monsters and creeps. Thank god the law did something to stop these people. It happened in a place of very deep corruption. It must have taken dedication and courage to see it through.

Having millions in the 60s is not the same as being a billionaire now. A car in the 60s cost about $2500. A house about $15k. That same house will run you $400k now (an increase of 27x). The car will run you $40k now, and increase of 16x. For a million to be analogous to a billion would require a 1000x increase, so you are not even close. People don't get numbers, and the wealth gap is increasing because of it.

We are talking over $140,000,000 in 1960, which today would equate to over $1,000,000,000. In other words, they would have the buying power of a current billionaire. I'm not refuting the fact that the cost of living hasn't skyrocketed far beyond the rate of inflation, but what Jon said isn't false.
