That is really strange the location of the Jeep. I wonder if it was stolen and they figured out a way to dump it there. In the early 1980's I did 7 dives for a vehicle as a deputy sheriff. It was the Missouri River and 2 pm, a bright sunny day. At 1 ft depth, it was like midnight. Feeling only. Nasty river and 8 mph current.
My brother and I always used humor no matter what we done. Fire fighting/rescues land and water, ground search and recovery. There are a time and a place for everything but when you are faced with family, law enforcement, EMS. It was strictly business. If it wasn't for that, with what we encountered we, would probably be in the loony bin. Jeremy , Adam keep up the great work, there is a special place for people like you, and when you get there say hi to my brother.

@@chantalmartel4721 I flick through them and watch the cases they solve, not into the lead up and their life history just finding them and bringing them home, I love what they do but Doug comes across to strong, I hate it when he talks himself up, like I'm the best in the country, what a disgrace too all the others out there who can do it, like I said I love them but they need to stop taking it as they the only ones who know how its done, as for the money, well it not cheap doing what they are doing not just that the mental side of things recovering dead bodies can't be easy, you never get use to it, going to get counselling not cheap. .I hope they get enough to pay for living cost, taking time away from work and loved ones to help others for free gets my total respect on that..

I agree with Adam. The car most be rolled down the water. There’s strong storms there. Maybe there was a flooding in the river.
I know for sure the Missouri River and other bodies of water had tremendous flooding in St. Joseph and surrounding areas in 2019

No one should question whether or not you are serious about what you're doing. You are out on waters searching for people, that is serious. It's not something you are required to do, you do it because you want to help. If someone doesn't like the way you're doing it, they can scroll past your videos and they can get their hiney's out there and do searches their own way. Making light of any serious endeavor is a coping mechanism and you shouldn't be bullied for that, Everyone Should know that when serious is needed, you one of the mot serious people on the scene. Your whole demeanor changes when the serious stuff starts. Love what you are all doing, every dive team out there
They might have caught the car going into the water from the cameras but if no one goes over the footage then no one knows. Many times no one looks unless there’s something else like an alarm going off. If someone had known it happened then they could’ve pulled the tape.
Thinking the same thing, because there's usually only one person watching a whole bunch of screens, & sometimes they're watching a screen in their hand instead!
@@stevie-ray2020 So true. People don’t catch everything ven at the best of times, but if they’re on their phones they can’t see anything.
Unfortunately the recordings are usually erased within a month to reuse the same memory or VHS tape so they can’t go back for the footage.

I pray for Johnny to be found and for his family. I also pray for you Nug and Jeremy. I hate it when a car is left underwater . All cars and trucks has a story , I would want to find out what that story is .. Like you said you would hate to pass this jeep up that it could have someone in it.. Just because one police dept. doesn't have any info on it doesn't mean that all police depts doesn't. Nug go with your gut feelings .. please go back when you can to get closure .

Could it possibly had a temp plate (paper)and it fell off or dissolved in water? Maybe it was just bought at a used dealership and permanent plates haven't came in yet.

I’ve seen full size RV’s floating down the little Pigeon river in a flash flood once !

I always carried a hammer underneath my front seat as one of my biggest fears was accidentally driving in the dark and end up in water. I have 4 friends and others who perished in this way. We have a very large popular lake in the county with numerous boat ramps. I watched your episode on how to survive an accident. All along I drove around with security knowing I had my hammer. 😳
So again, thank you for all you do. Yes, I bought my whole family the AWP gadget to escape from a car in an accident! ❤️
You REALLY need to start the conversation off with the dispatcher that you are a "scuba diver" looking for missing person in the river so they have some context Before setting up the call.

You say your not good dealing with families , only by doing it can you get better and it will help both your searching and the families deal with the results . Don't stop trying .
My problem is giving them false hope. Plus sometimes I get accused of just doing this for money and views those kind of comments really sting

And include in the intro like AWP it difficult to change minds if your not talking about it.
Your doing good things trying to help make sense of things when you can , then it's up to others to sort it all out.

No doubt in my mind someone drove it down along the rocks for fun. That’s what people do with wranglers. Very concerning! This isn’t a “roll the windows down and conveniently dump it” case.
You guys should carry one of those center punch glass breakers on you, that way in this situation you could of shattered one of the side window and checked inside for a body.
The more and more of these vehicles you keep finding, it seems the less and less anyone wants to remove them, which is sad
If you've seen other AWP videos you will notice that they don't break any windows to check whether a vehicle is clear of any remains. There's a very good reason for this, & that's because if the windows are up or intact, it makes it much easier to recover a vehicle while retaining any forensic evidence inside it!
You may even notice that occasionally when the diver/s realise that there are remains & not all the windows are intact, the vehicle is retrieved in such a way that minimises the risk of losing what's inside!
@@stevie-ray2020 But thats my point, if they can't prove there is a body in these vehicles they sit at the bottom of these rivers for ever because no one wants to deal with or pay to get them out. So if they could at least get inside to confirm that would help everyone. And bodies break down fast in the water so the sooner they get them out the more evidence there will be
I think you're right Nug. I get "feelings", and I feel an automatic uplift when it comes to your theory. JEEP guys are kind of show-offy, especially when drunk. I can imagine some dude wanting to show off how well his tires could handle that grade. I would almost bet money that's what happened.
.....but that doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't alone at the time, nor managed to exit his jeep before it went under!

It’s a scary thing that the information you gave to the police was completely correct yet The information that was given was completely wrong and it shows in the video you said there’s a jeep in the water nothing about an RV in the water somebody doesn’t know how to deliver information to another or so he doesn’t know how to listen when they’re giving information

Someone needs to invent a cross between sonar and ground penetrating radar so when you guys go looking for people if you find an anomaly that might be a buried vehicle you can know for sure. There is a magnetometer that you can get. AWP is looking to get one of those to locate underwater buried vehicles, but like most stuff all these teams need, they are a small fortune.

One thing about that Ford F150 is its all aluminum but for the firewall and frame. So I am not sure how all aluminum body vehicles act or looks in water compared to steel ones, but I do know that magnet does not stick to these aluminum vehicles.
You just hope that they've gone in then ended up on their roof!
