Truly is just a video game now. Soon, you'll have pimple kids competing in the Pros.
It really boring TV watching them stare at the screen and set the hook without even looking at their line. Being able to see how the fish react has really taken the art out of figuring out how to get a strike. I would like half the tournaments to be without live scope to see who is best all around angler.
I love reading all the comments bitching about watching FFS tournaments but 90% of you will sit down and watch a baseball game. At least with this, some form of the technology is available at decent price points and you can go out and play the game. You have zero chance of stepping on a MLB field and seeing a 100 mph fastball

I think that the NBT displays will also work with a Garmin 1243 but you dont get the high resolution image that you get with the 8600 series units.

I know the haters are going to hate, but imagine 75 years ago when Mr. DuoFast showed up to a framing job, and Randy Blaukat met him and said...."NOOOOO, the magic and mystery of using a hammer must be preserved...."....meanwhile Jim Walter's said...man we can frame a house five times more efficiently...😂

How do they not interfere between the landscape and forward transducers?
I try to keep my transducers as far apart to minimize
Do they make screen protectors for it?
Not sure yet but will look
Only problem with that is when your Garmin breaks down your out both units

@@JohnCrews I had an old humminbird that stayed in the repair shop more than it stayed on my boat. I could’ve bought a new unit for what I kept spending on it.
Kudos to NBT for being innovative. Taking an ice fishing thing and making it for open water but I'll just go get me a 32 inch Samsung from walmart and mount it in plexiglass for 300 bucks 😂

I get it,I mean I know the pros have to have all this to compete with all the other pros that have it, but it’s not even fishing anymore this doesn’t even showcase what a true professional skills are. I’m over it. And don’t care to watch ANY of this “fishing” anymore
