This vehicle isn't really bad as long as you factor in that nobody's ever paying remotely near MSRP. It's the same stupid GM pricing that has always existed. Take 15-25% off and it looks better. And while it clearly is based on rather pedestrian roots, the Traverse is actually very good and from a practicality standpoint, one of the best there is. Definitely not going to be as engaging as a BMW, Mercedes, or even Lincoln, but considering most just putz around suburbia, the real world usability, comfort, and space are arguably more important. I wish Caddy would actually pretend to be trying, however. I bet they still make a bunch of money on these.
It's a very pleasant looking car. There isn't any wow factor, as there is with the Aviator, but it's a nice looking car--similar to the XC-90. I think the one to get (between GM's full-sized SUV's) would be the Buick Enclave. It's more uniquely styled and has less of an identity crisis than the XT6. Curious to see what Cadillac would have done if the XT6 were on the platform originally planned. Cadillac should've waited and watched Lincoln before dropping an imagination-less SUV.
Went to buy a new vette and saw this next door in the showroom. Hooked after the test drive! Picked up the sport version with the black wheels, the dealer had the front windows already tinted. Love this truck, I’m a former Escalade owner that was looking to go mid life crisis and pick up a vette. This truck handles like a sports car and is a head turner. I was asked by some young kids at the gas station if the truck was a V model based on the sick looking grill. I’ll be honest I did not shop around and test the usual bmw, Benz, Audi, or Lincoln but this is my 5th Caddy in a row and I love buying American. I’ll have to wait another two years to pick up a new vette which will probably be easier to find. My wife’s Xt5 will be due for a trade and she can finish out the lease on the XT6. Trust me take one out for a test drive, if you are considering a lease it’s not badly priced.
Lol as though name XT6 is not confusing enough name they put a 400 badge for whatever idiotic reason. That engine is what you get in a Traverse. Cheap made in China interior. Get an Aviator which has figured out what to give America. Caddy is a lost brand and should die already.

In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. Why buy an XT6 when you can buy a Honda Pilot with better interior and performance? Or Hyundai Palisade, which has the best quality interior in class....and still costs a lot less!

The 400 is a generous approximation of the Torque in Nm. In this case, 367 Nm.
