Hey there! Harpy Weekend everyone!
It's been sooo busy with work lately, and I haven't had the chance to learn a new piece for ages. So, I decided to play something I already know from a piano piece 🤣🤣😅. One of my all-time favorites is "Kiss The Rain" by Yiruma. I've always thought it would sound beautiful on the harp, so I thought why not give it a try? Plus, we're in the rainy season, so it seemed like the perfect fit. I noticed that the original key wasn't easy to play on a lever harp, so I had to make some adjustments to the chords and do some twisting! I've noticed a few chords that don't quite sound right, but I'm running out of time to fix them after recording😅 . Here's hoping my skills improve, and I can nail this beautiful piece to the next level soon😊

Hello Barbara, Thank you ☺I used a TASCAM 4-Channel Portable Audio Recorder which I purchased from Amazon. The microphone I used was a standard one that I had previously used for a student project a long time ago.
@@loharchan Hi Lohar :) and what settings do you use? I just got one but I have no idea how to set up for recording my harp playing. Im also learning, love seeing your videos, and how good you are playing simply inspires me :)

Hello, I didn’t use music sheet ☺️but I believe you can find the piano version from online and convert it to harp.

@@loharchan thank you. I just got a reply from the website you referred me to, saying that they don't have this song. ( As matter of fact, she wrote that she has never heard of kiss the rain)..
Ops, my apologies, I thought you were asking for summer dreamin😅 the Kiss of Rain is arranged by Yiruma. It was original a piano music sheet, not for harps. You can Google it and it should pops out lots options ☺️
