    Oh what better things Australia could spend taxpayers money on.
    Biggest waste of money in Australian history at a time we can least afford it. World apex superpower countries buy nuclear powered submarines not insignificant islands with small populations and taxpayer bases and equally small military. Australia should know its place in the world and become a neutral country that stays out of world conflicts.

  • @se2805
    @se2805 Год назад +7

    Not one single Australian is thinking, "Wow, what an awesome investment. This is exactly what our government needs to be spending unfathomable amounts of our money on right now."
    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS EITHER AN 'INVESTMENT' OR SOMETHING WE WILL EVER NEED OR USE.

    Direct drive brushless generators are spun with wind, you could put them in a line, and connect their shafts together to be spun by an electric motor! That motor doesn't need to ever stop to recharge! It charges itself with the direct drive brushless generators!

      So do the new submarines that use the Sterling propulsion system . For two months they don't have to surface for air , some say for three .
      Resupply is the issue .
      Most German , French and the new Chinese ones have this system . And they proved to be silent in NATO exercises. A battle fleet passed over and the aircraft carrier was "sunk" by a Swedish sub .

    • @robertaustin6940

      @@ViolentCabbage-ym7ko Mate I don't know . I would prefer the construction of a few nuclear power stations because I get the shivers when the bill comes. Renewable sources is BS for me especially the windmill parks and the destruction they do to the bird life. And in the future the blades are going to be a pain because they are not recyclable . Solar panels are alright as long as we have the sun shining .
      A few conventional Subs for the Australian needs is ok with me .
      NOT nuclear submarines for an American future war .
