I love my Derwent pencil case. I have tons stored in mine. I have 6 leaves in mine and I have 3 pads of various papers. 😊

My Amazon wish list worked. Received this case for my birthday. I like to keep my pencils in separate cases but this case means I can have a mix of pencils plus notebook etc. Loads of room. Xx

I was thinking of doing some colouring in Bennett Klein’s books - is it something you would like to see?

If you fill the leaves with pencils, you can only fit about 5 in total. Ask me how I know! 🙄 I have my polychromos and Stabilo pastel pencils in one, Albrecht durer and Inktense in another and a third for my prismas. I really couldn't fit 6 leaves in one bag with pencils. I find this carry-all very useful even just for storage in my flat but it's amazing when I have to take it somewhere like you said. I usually fit a postcard coloring 'book' in the last strap, so I don't have to take a separate full sized book. Everything is self contained and I can grab whatever I feel like using at the time - colored pencils, pastels or water based mediums.
However I've just ordered the 84 set of neos and now I don't know where to put those! I suppose I could jus leave them in their box hmm..Anyone have any ideas for storing the neo 2 crayons?

Good to know, Shilpa.. 5 is the limit! I’m not sure about the neos, I’d be tempted to leave them in the box?

The Colour Cave That's what I'm going to do I suppose. At least the tin is pretty compact from what I can see online!
The thing is I have a very small computer desk for my coloring stuff and I've to fit all my supplies and books in a couple of shelves. So I've got to be pretty efficient with space! I really wish I could get one of those rolling carts near my desk so I don't have to keep moving stuff around every time I need something new from one of my other bags of supplies.
This is the biggest reason why I don't do mixed media stuff - I can only have one bag open at a time (and even that is a stretch, I usually pull out the pencils I use on the page and keep it in a jar near my book).

This is where I always say playing Tetris for hours on end as a child comes in handy 😂 I’m amazed at how much can be squeezed into a tiny space with a bit of manipulation. My friend has a clip-on ‘tabletop’ that folds out to give her more desk space, and she tucks it down the side of the desk when she’s not using it. Maybe something like that would be helpful for you?
